Whining noise
Overtime I’ve been hearing a whining kinda like a supercharger. It’s usually audible around 3k rpm and I have replaced 3 idler pulleys, serpentine belt, and power steering reservoir. Chat gpt says it’s most likely the alternator bearing but I’d like a second opinion before I go replace it.

AC pulley bearing was my culprit after all pulleys checked. Kinda hard to get to it unless you use a mechanic stethescope to listen.
FCP Euro sells the replacement pulley and they are easy to do....if that's where it's coming from but just throwing it out there. Clogged power steering filter in the tank can make the pump whine a little but it does not have that "bearing" type sound. If it is that the tank is easy to replace as well. Just some ideas for you.
