Pre-FL C63 viewing - sense-check my checklist
Viewing a pre-FL W204 C63 saloon Sunday. Would appreciate a sanity check from anyone who's been around these.
Car: 2010 pre-FL saloon, standard (no PP/PPP), 60k miles, 5 keepers, engine 60-061585 (post head-bolt-fix). Near-continuous MB main dealer FSH 2011–2023, indie MB specialist 2023, owner DIY oil + filter with genuine MB-spec 0W-40 in 2024. Last MOT Dec 2025: front ball joints + ARB links done. Outstanding advisories: brake pipe corrosion, rear subframe bushes split. Owner claims "completely stock." £18k.
My checklist covers: cold-start cam adjuster rattle and lifter tap, engine number verification, oil cap and coolant mayo check, intake manifold colour, plastic pulleys, engine mounts, fluid levels, underside brake pipes / bushes / exhaust / weeps, test drive for gearbox shudder / misfires / temperature stability, interior wear vs mileage, full service book and invoices, V5C and keys.Where I'd value input:

- At 60k with this service pattern, anything you'd push hard to inspect that I'm missing?
- 7G-Tronic at 60k with no documented gearbox service ever — risk profile? Deal-breaker if it shudders under load?
- Cam adjusters at 60k on this maintenance — statistically due, or do well-serviced examples make 100k+?
