Good news, although I would be okay with either way I do like the red accents. Where did you confirm?
Found a base seat with the mb tex and it's listed with anthracite as well. 251A. Another member also looked up the parts catalog using the VIN and found red stitching.

I don't think I saw those as an option in the build sheet (I could have missed), but I went with the sport seats and don't think they offered anything other than heat/cool for them. Tried them in a friend's GLE 63s and they were nice but I didn't think about them when building this one.
Edit: Oh yeah, I see them on the advanced sport seats - I think leather is required for that, so I did not go for it.

I have those seats as I chose the performance seat package advanced. Curious to see how these feel compared to my w205 performance seats
The alcantara is the best thing for the Florida heat IMO - If I got full leather, which I do prefer visually, I'd have to spec ventilated seats as well - so all in you're talking about $1,200 more for the advanced seats over the already expensive performance seats.
Either way, one of the nicest things about them is they are fully covered in leather on the backside.

actually - another car just posted. This has enough quality to verify:
and this is the trim I specc'd with the seats I specc'd - just missing the L6K steering wheel - one thing you don't get with the DE4 seats is the crest in the headrest - probably because only a full leather headrest would retain the shape/symbol
This is a weird car - it's technically not possible to spec the silver diamond with metal weave - not sure what happened on the assembly line (actually looking at this again - the retractable cover is silver diamond too - so maybe they ordered/replaced the surround for some reason and just ordered it incorrectly)
Good representation of that more brownish hue from the metal weave you get and how they ultimately aren't very different visually other than that hue and gloss vs matte
Just waiting on some US reviews. Feedback has been all over the place. Either the car is not a cohesive package or these reviewers don't actually have relevant insight on the car.
One of those Chinese reviewers goes on to say the steering lacks feedback, the brakes are too sensitive and the ride is too firm, that the car looks boring and then commends the cornering ability but the gearbox is great - this feedback is at ends with itself IMO. And most all of them bring up the C63 when they are not even driving 8/10's in the C43. Really confusing reviews honestly.

It is really all over the place on the reviews, it’s quite confusing.
The three reviewers that I always watch for Mercedes cars all LOVED the C43. This includes Autotrader, Rokenr and Thomas from autogefuhl. Of course they had some nitpicks about the car (it’s not perfect) but overall they seem to enjoy the package.
in regards to the Chinese reviewer sayin the steering lacks feedback…that’s the first I’ve heard that. Even the negative reviews have all said the steering is fantastic around corners especially with the rear wheel steering. Some of these reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt as I feel some don’t even know how to put into words how a car operates lol
the only concern I have that is across the board is the transmission. I even asked a current owner of the C43 and he said it’s pretty bad.
