I wonder how these will be selling. There are so many of them coming in, idk if they can sell them due to the 4 cyl. Better for us! Means by the time i buy one sept-nov i may get some discounts lol. The amount of hate mercedes is getting right now for these 4 cyls is insane.

So out of curiosity, are these our exact spec seats? I don't think I was 100% sure of the exact look of ours since I have seen with Alcantara and without it.

exact seats! These are with the MB-tex (alcantara). They have the black AMG "belt holes", leather back, no AMG crest in headrest and red stitching

DE4 are the MB-tex seats - they are only available like that. You'd have to upgrade to DE5 to have a full leather option (w/ 251)

All is stated in the DOG. Performance seats are only available in the two variants for the US for MY23

Do the US Spec AMG performance seats have lumbar support? I have seen some pictures online that do not show any controls on the side of seat.

What happened to the (partial) configurator, am I blind or it is not there anymore?

I think they took it off because they’re updating it for tomorrow. I think the configurator should be live this week and maybe cars are released too.

I love the shape of the seats, and I think it actually might just be the lighting, but the slight difference in colour between the leather and the dinamica upholstery is ugly as hell. It looks like an accident. Definitely not for me.

Thankfully you could option different colour performance seats... hopefully if I am not mistaken?

These are all the same seats (mind you, the material used here is exactly the same contrast you will see in the non-performance seats in the 651 (standard seats))

Yeah, the shape is the same - I think it's a combination of the lighting and the different contrast colours that make these more recent photos look really flat, where as the all-leather perforated ones seem to have more depth. To each their own . For me, with the all-leather embossed seats, I'd pay extra for those, no questions.

With these ones, I'd pay extra NOT to get them

yesssss. Especially with the digital lights. The standard lights have that weird squiggly line in chrome that kills it.

Literally nothing happening in terms of news. I certainly was not correct in thinking the cars would be released this week. Maybe they are waiting for the slew of performance seats to hit US shores for review samples?!
