I respect your opinion on the original 20” split 10 spokes. However, I personally prefer the Y 5-spokes, and if these are the wheels that now come with the car, I may commit to keeping my current build as opposed to rebuilding the car in a few months when the studio package is available.

Thanks for sharing.
You are correct. I didn't order performance seats.
Regarding the Y spoke wheels i like how it looks on the GLC just can't picture it on the C43.
I wonder if the wheels are staggered? Will the rear be wider than the front?
I was contemplating rebuilding in a few months as well but not sure about dealer allocations. The spoiler to me is the biggest loss from excluding the DC2 Studio Pack. The other components are not as pronounced and don't really stand out

So this is the Twin 5 spoke that is available for 2022 C43 coupe. It is only available in 19" for 2022 but I assume it would be the same look as 20"
So this would now be RZX and the Y spoke would be RZY

I actually like this twin spoke wheel more than the Y spoke. It sucks that we didn't have the options to approve the changes that MB made and select from the available substitutions

Thank you! Interesting. The grey accents that I have selected might be unaffected? The y spokes are sick too. I wouldn't be upset about that.

There are so many wheels with the same "name"

It might be complete random what the cars show up with. lol They may have made that change because the c63 will have the split spoke wheels available.

The early ones that are already built may have the split spoke wheels you prefer - check the cars coming in and change to a different one if it matches your criteria

I've never leased a car before. I usually keep my cars for 6 to 7 years. Considering that, how much more costly is it to lease a car twice compared to fully paying off a car but driving it for 6 years?

Depends on the number of months and your state's tax policy, i.e some states tax the whole amount even for a lease, and some only tax a monthly payment.
Assuming the same interest rate, your payment before tax would be $1750 for 48 months. Now see if after you had payed it off the car would be worth what? see what 4 years old cars go for now.

So I am on the fence in regards to the omission of the studio package on my build. Should I wait for another slot or take the car as is? I don't know when I will get another slot and I want to work with my current dealer as they have indicated no market adjustment.

What would you do

While it's cool, I never considered spending the money on it. How patient can you be if you wanted to wait? I really want the car sooner as toting my toddlers in my tiny A35 is getting a little old.

We are in the exact same situation. On Nov 9th, my dealership sent a request to MB to rebuild the car if/when the studio package becomes available. I was told typical response time is anywhere from two weeks to a month.

We likely won’t have the opportunity to see our completed cars in person until 1st quarter 2023 (my car went into production last week). I’m not waiting till then to accept or reorder.

The omission of the studio package is a deal breaker for me. My car is Polar White, and the studio package makes a dramatic difference in the overall look.

For me, it’s worth the wait.

Btw, you won’t burn any bridges with your dealer if you reorder through him. He/she will likely charge a premium to the next customer who chooses your car; which of course makes them happy.

Unless something changes and cars are to be released to dealers 2/28 - you're talking maybe 2 more months to respec the car and take delivery at worst. Just edit the earliest PO available that can still be altered. SA's can edit/alter a new PO without any penalty. I currently have a CLA45 on order too, my SA knows I do will not take delivery of both cars.

Buy the car you want, don't compromise IMO. Nothing in the studio package would be difficult to add later either though.

I'd also be hesitant to take delivery of a car sitting at VPC for 4 or more months. 2022 C300's that sat for months have had battery/48v system issues. Not sure if that was directly software related or from not starting for months.

Once you have a VIN you can check the options that the car was built with. You could wait and verify and at that point reorder.

Here are some images of the C43 from different perspectives and different colors! It seems the car has very much launched at this point in other markets.

Enjoy this while we seem to be in a sort of purgatory waiting for our cars

So I am looking at those grey color cars, I am thinking I might need at least a night package 1. Would you guys agree?

I dislike the chrome rear valence insert a lot. Would be getting DC1 for that alone. The rest is whatever for me - just depends on spec. Would be very easy to get black vinyl wrap to cover those parts after the fact as well.

I actually prefer the side sills in body color because they have more presence (at least in photos).

I still would like to see better shots of Selenite with DC1 and non-studio (which is my spec) as I figure out what I want to do.

I've seen a few C300 AMG Line in Selenite and it looks sharp. Given how few of these I do see, I expect the C43 to be quite a rarity on the roads.

The side sills in black are exclusively to AMG correct? @alexasa ?

Yep haha.

Also, the 19's in that one side profile shot almost look a bit too small and it shows in those wheel wells...

I need to ask my client advisor about freezepoint date so I can ponder any adjustments before SOP.
So even this build print out says y spokes (Septmeber). My original print out has 10 spokes and have now switched to 5 twin spokes (RSX not RZY on my build)

just found it interesting. Each market is getting slightly different options but it'd be weird for the US to have completely different wheel options. They may have changed the RZY wheel offering.

Some of these listings show the 10 spoke and have them listed as "lättmetallfälgar i 5-dubbeleker aerodesign" which means alloy wheels in 5-double-spoke aero design

Asia markets get 19 inch + studio + no performance seats (night package and color only major exterior choice)
EU gets no studio and 20 inch 10 spokes standard no performance seats
Germany gets whatever, although I have not seen any cars with performance seats.

And two fin rear diffuser seems like a supply chain issue early on, I would imagine as long as you aren't taking delivery of a car built in july/august (there are very few coming/in the US with that date) you should be fine? The two fin design is only depicted on the T model (estate) here. If I could find a VIN for these I'd do more digging (some of them are listed as 2022 MY).

This is GREAT - thanks @alexasa !

The more I see these non-Studio Performance pics, the more I feel ok about my build.

I do need to see what my retailer's C43 pipeline looks like and if he has any Dec/Jan changeable builds.

Do you think you'll be able to purchase the CF spoiler standalone?

This site is gold, they also have a new C63 AMG hood ornament (c43 gets regular MB), I have talked to them before, they do not ship to USA

I'm sure we'll be able to get it....somehow. Doesn't AMG have an accessories division?

Also, what happened to the seat adjustments on the doors @alexasa ? It looks like it is down below the seat and not on the doors...was this a cost-savings change?
