Test drove a c43 AMG at local dealership and was an impressive drive. Bigger car than before is obvious. Notably there was none of the turbo lag I've been accustomed to before, so the trade off to the 4 cylinder seems to be a good one. Had a run down of available mods for cars scheduled to be produced before the MB shutdown until the 24 models begin production. Wondering if i should order the '23s that are available for likely July delivery or wait for the '24s that will likely get delivered in October. Not sure if it pays to get a late year model vs early year. Anybody know anything?

Jealous! Can you speak to the transmission and the handling? What does the 4WS feel like in turns and lane changing? Did you drive one with the performance seats or the standard sports seats?
I know someone else mentioned the seats a bit ago but, I wanted to ask those of you who have seen a C43 in person, do the performance seats have the embossed Affalterbach logo? Not to be petty, but I want every freakin penny's worth of this car when I take delivery. Thanks.
Yeah its crazy. When I got my 2019 C43, I put an order in March 2018. It came in Dec 2018. I thought that was a long wait....
Looks like with the C43 and C63 this year its going to be a longer wait... I honestly thought it should have arrived in Canada by now given that its already released in USA.
It’s got to be soon at this point right? I seriously don’t believe I started shopping for a car in September…. 2021….
I have been eagerly waiting for the W206 C 43 since April 2022 I think that was when they first announced it. I mean the 2022 W206 C 300 4MATIC reached dealerships in June last year when it was announced back in January or February of 2021. Took like a year and a half to get to Canada. To put in perspective though, the 2022 C 300 arrived USA in May while we got it in June last year. I am wondering and hopefully it will just be one more month of wait so late April or early May for it to come to Canada the latest. The release happened in the USA already on March 21, 2023.

We Canadians always get the short end of the stick for literally everything, it is what it is. I guess we would compare with the 2019 C 43 release timeline until we realize chip shortage and such changed things, sadly our market is not as big of a priority as USA it seems.

If you are located in MBUSA, from all vehicles that are from the USA with images I seen, the base performance seat with ARTICO (aka MBTEX) does not have the logo, I am not sure if the advanced performance seats ones have it but I doubt it too.

I honestly think the only change will be a higher price tag, hopefully with more standard options but I doubt it, I mean since the wait took so long for the 2023, I am not sure if you want to wait for the 2024 model year. If there are options that aren't deleted and restricted from ordering that you want, I would consider looking at the 2023.
My dealer got 3 in this week and two already have sold tags on the dash. I drove through the lot today and the last one available is a Selenite Grey only one with studio package. My in-person first impression of the rear with the extended diffuser bits…she was…bulbous? Hard to describe but felt so so different in person compared to any angle I’ve seen to date. Interior looked amazing, though all three only had standard seats and the funky 18” wheels.
I love the goofy 18s. They are unique. I hate hate the 19s. They look like cheap tuner wheels you got back in 2004 from the auto store down the street.
To be honest, I don't think I "LOVE" any of the wheel options on this car. I'll run my 20s for a bit, but they may be relegated to winter wheels if I find a nice set that suit this car better for the summer.

18s
I talked about this wheel design, and I honestly don't hate it as much as others, maybe or perhaps there is more wheel than rubber it might look good but then you risk pothole damage even more. These wheels look very similar to SL wheels imo https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ml#post8748412

At least with those wheels (design at least) you know it was from the GT black series? or was it the AMG GT Pro and I mean it does look good on both cars. To be frank, wheels are the least of your worries as they can easily be changed through aftermarket means if you don't like it, if you choose the wrong leather or wrong colour combination, it is not as difficult but not impossible. For the wrong exterior colour, I guess wrap, for the wrong interior trim I guess you can also add a skin to it but wrong leather colour.... well...
