Just picked up mine yesterday. Everyone complains about 4 cylinder but honestly it's great. Only down side is on way home from pick up my cel came on. Sure it's just firmware update or similar as everything seems to function fine.

Just got it car back. Was a vacuum line on the engine that came completely disconnected. Plugged back in and all is well now.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Just a question for those who have received their cars. Did the cars ship from South Africa ( East London) to Bremerhaven, Germany first in your experience? And then to North America?
Or were the cars shipped directly from East London to North America for you?

Trying to get insight into if my dealer knows what they are saying... I was told my car is on route from East London to Bremerhaven, but they dont have any more details. I also, dont see any shipping schedules for ships going this route so am a bit puzzled.

Yeah, exactly this. Ive heard both things. Not sure which is true or perhaps both are true and the route varies depending on time of year and ships available. Usually the cars dont ship directly to Ontario. They are shipped the Halifax and then transported by rail or truck to Ontario, Canada. This was the response my dealer received from MB Canada.
In any case, my SA who is on vacation returns end of next week so I will touch base with him and hopefully get some more info!
