2013 C63 MB intake camshaft availability delay
Has anyone heard or supply issues from MB? Is there a way to get a hold of MB to discuss directly. The 800 # just leaves you on hold waiting for a rep.
Thanks

Not sure if you have seen the other thread where a c63 owner is in the same position. I recommended in that thread after going through something similar with another car that you should search literally the entire world. Do not wait for a dealership or service writer to search. Its possible that Mercedes never makes these again. In my case Lexus told the service manager my camshaft was on the boat last June ('21) but that reality turned into a discontinued part and no boat ever showed... It also may be easier to find aftermarket and may be your only choice. It sucks I know but now is the time to take matters into your own hands and get back on the road even if not following your first preference. In my case I found the part at an engine rebuilder and begged to pay them more for their used part than a new part would have cost, if available. Had I waited for my service advisor and not thought outside the box, my "rare" perfect land cruiser would have been totaled because a mechanic broke my original camshaft while incorrectly reinstalling. The engine rebuilder I called was in Florida, and very nice when chatting on the phone.
To think that any person in Mercedes other than the parts production team managers have any clue about production is just silly and will make you angrier. The phone is for lip service, not actual help.
Lastly and I know this especially sucks but you can find lots of these parts in the area of the world that is in conflict right now. Ebay and google translators will help.
Good luck
