2024 AMG c43
Just picked up 2024 c43 - first impressions

Yesterday, I took delivery of my new 2024 AMG c43. It's Graphic Grey Metallic / Sienna Brown/Black leather. Loaded with Pinnacle, driver assist.,pkg, night pkg, pano roof, AMG real perf. sound, etc. etc. 13 miles on it at delivery, 150 when I got home. This is my first M-B, but I've had a variety of luxury/performance vehicles in my almost 60 years of owning cars. Closing the deal took long enough that my better half was getting really tired of hanging around the dealership, so we cut the operational instructions by the SA short. I had already downloaded the 2023 owners manual and read most of it, so I knew enough to get us home. I'm impressed with the ride quality on comfort setting. I decided to follow the break-in instructions in the owners manual (first 1,000 miles under 4,500 RPM, vary RPM, stay in comfort, no fast starts). The car is very solid and tight (no rattles or squeaks). The sound quality of the Burmester 3d surround sound system is astounding - definitely the best of any vehicle I've had. The standard AMG seats are extremely comfortable and the leather quality is first rate. The paddle shifters make it easy to vary the RPM's. Cruising at 75 puts it somewhere around 2,000 RPM's and I could downshift 3 gears and still be well under 4,500. So far all I've done is set up the Mercedes Me Connect App and program the homelink garage door opener. I have yet to customize the settings and memory for myself and my wife. I'll post more about it after I've had a chance to put some miles on it. When I figure out how to post pictures, I'll add a few shots. (I read the how-to on posting pictures, but I'm enough of an old fart that I will need some time to get it right).

Congrats on the vehicle, looking forward to those pictures when you do post figure out how to post it (if this helps, it is that paper clip thing when you edit/reply to a thread, then you can choose the picture and upload). If it doesn't work, you can put it on an online storage service like Dropbox or Google Drive and link it here.

I am glad to hear the quality has improved compared to the 2023 C 43 (re: rattles and squeaks). Enjoy it.

It seems that the pics I took with my iphone are image/heic format, and the forum software doesn't like that.

I see, if you still want to upload it, time to convert it or upload to the streaming service examples mentioned.

I bought a car that had already been built and was sitting at the Baltimore VPC. It was optioned a little bit higher than I would have ordered, but close enough to jump on. It has black seatbelts. I'm not sure if red was available with the brown leather.

Here are a couple of shots of the new c43. The wheels are the standard 18" with Pirelli P Zero run flats. I would have liked 19" or 20" rims, but we live in a rural area with some twisty blacktop roads and I didn't want to worry about a flat after dark with no place to pull off the road, I also think the 18's give a more comfortable ride.

Smart move IMO. I'd much rather spend money on aftermarket wheels than Merc. options. There are better looking and quality wheels out there for the price that Merc. charges.
