Are you trying to engage Race Start?

 

@Mayur999 Congrats, looks amazing! Curious, were you given any special instructions about engine break-in since it’s always shutting the engine off and on and starts in electric mode? What did you do for break-in, comfort and let it do its thing, battery hold, sport mode?? I have an E-Perf model coming and I’m all clustered about engine break-in when the engines off and on constantly and might not be at proper temps when called upon. Thank you, and again, looks awesome!!

Congrats on the beautiful car in coming. TBH, I just followed the instructions on the sticker on the windshield. I think it recommended to keep RPM < 4500 and speed less than 140Km/h for the first 1500 km. I drove it in all modes, but just kept it under these parameters before letting rip.

 

Thanks for the reply! Were you worried at all about the engine shutting off and on all the time, or is that more rare than I think it’s going to be??

 

Honestly, I didnt care too much about it. It happens in comfort mode, but not in Sport plus or Race mode. I assumed the car was designed and built to function in that way so didnt stress too much bc its not something I could really control or change.

I would say, just follow the instructions given and otherwise enjoy your beautiful purchase! Im sure it will be amazing.
