Hi all! Love my 2024 c43. Great contrast in one car where I can switch from comfort to beast in sport+.
Yet, and i get it, the exhaust is a bit too tame.
i have an order for an ASR RX2 flap controller to open it up a bit more.
But also considering a resonator delete. When we had it on the lift, my exhaust mechanic balked at deleting - based on the sensor in the pic.
what is that sensor? He asked me to find an example of someone that deleted a reso in this make and can’t find one case online where someone did it (concern of course is check engine light, reduced performance, even long term issue due to sensor changes, and overall sound - is there a change to Drone?).
So - anyone do a res delete on a w206 c43 that can attest it was safely done and sounded better? Not looking to wake the neighbors just a more aggressive sound (I know I know the 4 cylinder - but on that there are other 4 cyls out there that sound nice like a Elantra N).
A member on discord did (doesn't have the car anymore). It made the car marginally louder, with more rasp and more upshift fart. Probably not worth doing in the grand scheme unless you are desperate for more volume.
