but let us know if there's a update for the 2-spd. I'm interested to see if AMG has any solution for the slow shifts.

The 2-spd transmission doesn't jolt, but it's super slow. As said above, it shifts around 75 mph and when it happens, it pretty much cuts all power until the 2nd gear is in, which takes like 1-2 seconds. It felt like time stood still. Sounds like they haven't done anything about it in the last year. When in Comfort mode, it's in 2nd gear the entire time, so if you have any jolts in Comfort mode, they are coming from the MCT.

The 9-spd MCT is horrendously tuned in this car and sounds like it hasn't improved. I've reported on this in 2024 after I drove it. I have the 9-spd MCT in my C205 C63S and driven it in many other AMGs. I don't know what they did with it in the W206, but it's pretty terrible. The MCT was specifically designed for the V8s, and somehow they have trouble making it work the same with the M139. The C43 has issues with it as well. It jolts like hell in the W206 C63 when you put it in the sporty modes, and for no reason.

those early turbo fails wasn't even caused by the turbo itself. it was casting sand residue left in the block which was a production error, not a design flaw. As far as the 2-speed and E-motor all integrated into one unit isn't new. Porsche/Audi are the first that uses it in the Taycan/Etron GT. If anything, the electronics on this car or any MB would be the failure point that are more likely to happen. Any drive unit that works with electric motors are tend to be designed to be more robust due to the instant torque EV motors produce.
the most common issue I've seen so far is the 12v battery for those that lives in urban area that only drives short distances.
times of a car that can last 10+ year without any issue are long gone especially for Mercedes post W204 and W212.

That's not what I'm describing. I love the 9-MCT in every AMG I've driven except the W206. I love the quick sporty shifts with a kick under WOT, and yes I drive 90+% in manual mode. I've driven manual transmission for over 20 years, and I've had dual clutch transmission in the past. The MCT comes closets to the feel of a manual due to the single clutch setup. The experience in the W206 C63 was literally unpleasant jolts to the point of upsetting the chassis unnecessarily. It was simply not well tuned. Have you driven the 9-MCT in any other model for comparison? I drove the C63 and GT63 back to back for example just to make sure it wasn't in my head. The latter had the proper tuning that I was used to from my car and others I've driven with the 9-MCT.

seems to only happen in comfort mode when the combustion engine is off. Didn’t experience this with the w206 c43 I had.

I see. Curious what they find. As said, the EDU is always in 2nd gear in Comfort, so maybe something with the transition from ICE to EV, or the MCT not decoupling cleanly.

Have had a 2010 and 2012 C63, a 2019 c43 coupe, a 2025 c43, and now a 2025 c63. I loved the two w204 C63 and the 2019 c43 coupe. Swore I’d never get the new 4 cylinder hybrid. Found a 2019 AMG GTC that I was going to buy and stopped by my local dealership to have them pull service history and get a gauge on pricing. They said it was a great deal, but also told me they had a new c43 with huge discounts. The new c43 vs. a six year old gtc for a lot less
$ seemed like the better financial choice, so went with it. Absolutely hated the 2025 c43. My 2019 coupe was so much better and quicker. . Then I get an email on deep discounts on the new c63 and made the swap: so far, very happy with the choice to switch to the c63. Took a big hit on getting rid of the c43, but worth every penny.. Also drove a 2023 c63S coupe and didnt compare to the 2025 c63. Can’t believe I bought this 4 cylinder hybrid, but is awesome…for now.

What discounts off of MSRP are people seeing with a new C63? One person here mentioned 18%. How does one get such deals? I called one dealer who is sitting on a high option 2025 still, and he offered $500 rebate through Sam's Club membership and 1.99% for 24 months. I thought that was outrageous on such a low selling car but I didn't push the issue and got off the phone.
I understand the unpopularity with this car's approach by AMG but I think this is a very interesting and capable car, and at the right price it is very worth it to some people.

Yes, we are already seeing high-option CPO cars asking $35k off MSRP and high option non-CPO cars asking $40k off MSRP. I figured the guy would be willing to dump it for $20-$30k off MSRP.
