So, what are the most up to date details on this transmission?
Is this transmission basically the same from the current C63, or is it a dual clutch like the one from the SLS ???
I am HOPING the next C400 and C63 gets a dual clutch.

The 7G-Tronic Plus is the standard automatic transmission used in the non-AMG W204 C-Class.
It was also used in the pre-facelift/pre-LCI C63.
The 2012+ W204 C63s have the MCT transmission, which is basically a conventional automatic (same as the 7G) that utilizes a wet start-up clutch (unlike the 7G) in lieu of a conventional torque converter.
The 2015 C63 will have the MCT transmission (same from the W204).

I know. The document only states "c300" and "c400".
Let's hope you're wrong and MB puts the world class DCT from the SLS in the W205 C63.
If not, the 4matic C63 will be a world class car, with a second class transmission.
