Mercedes' W205 series C-Class is set to bloom with at least two new AMG models within the next 12 months, including the tamer 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 C450 AMG Sport and the 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 C63 AMG that will spawn an even wilder Black Series Edition as well.
Artist Wild Speed rendered the next C63 AMG sedan for Road Mag using existing spy shots and styling cues from the current E63 AMG, while YouTuber TouriClips is adding to our knowledge about Stuttgart's BMW M3 rival with a video of two prototypes of the car battling it out on the Nürburgring.
The C63 AMG's 4.0-liter twin-turbo unit that replaces the current model's naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 is expected to deliver more than 450hp even in its base configuration giving it the power-edge over the new M3.

Honestly, that 507 is pretty safe since its the last of the breed. I see it depreciating similarly to a CLK63 BS since its pretty rare. If I had the coin I would gladly buy the ultimate of the 6.2l beasts. Enjoy it!

507 will tank like a rock just like the rest of the C63. You can get 507 from a tune for $1k and everyone knows it so it has no real value other than options. (Which even then brings little value on the used car market.

Thanks man! I hope it does hold at least a decent value since it's limited production and the last 6.2, that's honestly the main reason I'm getting it cause I feel it's a special car with a truly special motor!

I think the 6.2L C63 will always be a classic 507 or not. that motor!

That same motor is in the E, S, CLS, etc. They have been replaced by the 5.5Bt and no one cares about the 6.3 anymore... Nothing classic about it and it is not coveted by anyone when shopping for a used AMG.
The only way we will care about the 6.3 after it has been replaced is if AMG gives us a soulless engine like the M3... And that will never happen.

When I was shopping for my E63, I specifically wanted the 6.2L NA plant. Sure the new engine is nice and very tuneable, but it doesn't mean the M156/M159 is any less awesome.

Nice !!! Eagerly awaiting exact specs on both and this new AMG TTV6 variant will be interesting, it's already capable of 0-100km/h in just 4.9sec in standard MB trim.
Can't wait for the new AMG 205 series coupes, either one of those 2 above would suit me perfectly
Can't wait till the release

I'm just going to go ahead and guess you've never been in an AMG powered by an M156...
