Order Question
Now that the car has been revealed and order books are opening next month, I went into my dealer, and apparently, I can only order the Edition 1's. I do not like some of the edition 1's design cues. Does this mean I have to wait another model year?

Same with my dealer. The first set of cars they are going to get are going to be edition ones according to them but after that I think you can you order the non edition 1. You won't get it right at launch though.

Apart from the quilted interior stitching on the seats and door panels, there's nothing in the Edition 1 that's appealing to me. I'd go as far as saying that most of the cosmetic changes actually detract and and in a way cheapen the look of the car -- stickers and red accents throughout were just a tacky, poor decision.
With that said, it's unlikely that all launch models in March will be Edition 1 only. I think what you're hearing probably has more to do with dealer allocations for launch models rather than what customers will be able to configure and order.
Hopefully we'll see pricing and ordering info at the Paris debut next week.

i was thinking about getting the edition one but eff if its 11k on the CLA 45 its going to be crazy expensive on the C63.
Id rather wait it out a month and get the C63 with AMG sport seats, Steering wheel, interior package, multimedia package, night package and HUD. That'll probably be cheaper than the Edition one cause with the edition 1 i think there are two other packages that required..
A LOT of the stuff on the Edition one is retarded. I don't want random decals on the side, decals in the grill, i don't want the wheels cause I'm getting some wheels right when the car comes out, and I'm not really feeling the red carbon fiber (id rather have the open pore black ash)

Going to go talk to two other local dealers and talk to them about allocations. I do NOT want to wait another model year.

The decals on the side are horrible! I want the AMG Performance seats and the AMG Performance Exhaust, and the Carbon Fiber Package. I may get a Designo color as well.(Brilliant Blue) I want to speck the car my way. I'm going to be on top of my local dealers to see when they get non-Edition 1 pricing!

I feel the same about any car that I ever purchased. That said, I can't imagine the dealer will be willing to budge off msrp for a first model year AMG car that will likely be in high demand with limited supply right out the gate. Unless you've bought several cars from the dealer and have connections, I just don't see it happening. Save yourself the headache and Euro deliver it. That's why I didn't even bother with the 2014 CLA45. It was just this past June that I started approaching 3 of the local MB dealers about pricing and a test drive. 2 gave me a straight no and wouldn't let me test drive then gave me this BS line about the car being an AMG and "their customers who buy these cars know what they are getting so they don't even drive them". Needless to say I walked out and won't be buying from any of those 2. Sales rep at the last one recently agreed to let me drive the car on and after several discussions finally seemed open to idea of negotiating pricing. Not sure where it will lend since I'm already getting the standard EDP discount but he at least had the right attitude. Just asked that I wait til he has all of the 2015 pricing available. So even if I get an additional discount, it'll be almost a year after the car release. I can't imagine the C63 not selling as well or better than the CLA45.

With the C63 its going to be extremely hard to get anything below MSRP. Especially if you want it right when it comes out. You'll probably be waiting a while. I've talked to several dealers and all have them have said no even the one we buy our cars from. This car can't be ED either since its built in the United States... Gotta pay to play...

I went to the dealer yesterday to inquire about the new 2015 AMG and the sales rep told me he was going to find out tomorrow and would be contacting me. I asked about deposit, price difference between the AMG and AMG S, overall price of both and no answer at all. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to disperse the news. If anyone has any of the previous questions' answered please let us know.

No way you will be able to get any money off of a C63 at least the first 6 months. You will probably get it at MSRP or you work for a company that is part of the fleet program or are in the Military. Then and only then, they may give you 500 off.
I put my order in for a spot. I'm waiting for the time when I can actually order it which I guessing is in November. I expect to be one of the first to receive one :-)

I contacted two dealers and both knew nothing about the car other than what I informed them about. They also couldn't tell me if they were going to be produced in the States like the rest of the Cs for the US market. I was hoping to do another European Delivery on either an M3 or a C63 in April and looking to get my order in ASAP.
