Delay in release for the C63s?
My CA here in Houston says the C63s (maybe the C63 also) is being pushed back to July. Any truth to this?

If that is true, why even buy a 2015 because the 2016 will come out a couple of months later. If it is tagged as a 2015 = immediate depreciation

maybe he meant thats the next allocation they have?

I am certain he wasn't speaking about allocation. Just wondering if anyone else heard this? He has no reason to lie to me so I hope he is just mistaken.

I believe that only Edition 1 vehicles will be sold before July. Maybe that's what he meant.
If you want a Non-Edition 1 C63, you have to wait till July.

I was told by my salesman that the car I ordered (C63S) should arrive late April or early July so I believe it is true.

This is the case here in Canada so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same in the U.S since the Edition 1 is technically a launch edition.

Thanks guys. So nothing new really as only Edition 1 was coming out earlier than July and most will come after that.

Not sure why they don't make these 2016's then. I mean. By July/August, a lot of Car companies are starting to roll out the 2016's. Basically, the 2015 will be here for 4 months, then a new one. Pretty dumb if you ask me.

that makes no sense though. that means from march to july they will sell only 1 c63 and 1 c63s?

Allocation will be tight for the up coming months. My hunch is most of the 2015's will be C63 S Models only.

Can't get any info from my dealer. All they are saying is that the order banks are open. ??

Yes, order banks are open which allows a order to be entered. That is the best before the dealer receives a PO for that car. The order bank is a way to request a vehicle.

PO executed and vins assigned for delivery in March or April for 2015 Edition 1 cars and then they pretty much stop after May. In July the 2016 cars will start to roll out. If I had a PO with a delivery date of April-May 2015 for a 2015 car, I'd take a pass and just wait a few months for a 2016 that can be had in July. For those who can't wait, then get your 2015 Edition 1 car asap.

I am getting a 2015 for a few reasons:

1) My CLS lease is up in April

2) I am leasing the C63 so to me deprecation doesn't mean much

3) MY 16 will have a price increase over the MY 15

4) I want it now...LOLOL
