Reviews are up!
Most of the M3/4 reviews I have read suggest that the M cars are all too willing to go into lurid, tail out drifts with just a bit of aggressive throttle mid corner (at least with stability control off) and there are lots of videos demonstrating this. It is hard to believe that this review believes the M cars are substantially more stable than the C63.
Here's the quote: "As far as grip, traction, and roadholding go, the winner wears a three-pointed star."
"While the BMW almost always lets go first at the rear, the C63 will in all likelihood not let go at all."
And that's the standard C63 that accomplished that grip. I imagine the e-diff in the C63 S is even better.

Edit- Just called them and they already sent the car to the show. Although there's going to be a MB representative at the car show and it'll be there decision whether or not to let me sit in the car.

New Mercedes-AMG C63: the big road test

Generally, though, I came away with one thought: I'd rather have a C63 than a BMW M3. That's big news for me. But when you have a car that's subtle-but-good-looking, an absolute joy to drive quickly without scaring you witless, capable of carrying the family and putting the wind up a serious sports car, you know you've got a winner.
Bring on the head-to-head comparisons. I don't think Mercedes-AMG has much to worry about.

Damn, this is one of, if not the best review so far.
"Compared with the M3, the new C63 AMG is the more complete all-’rounder, creamier and more composed but dynamically just as awesome. If you want the smiles without the pain, the Mercedes is the one to reach out for."

There are a few people who I agree with and those people believe that both cars are great in their own ways. AMG stepping up their game is better for the consumer as M must continue to improve.
Not everyone is obsessed with Nurburging times. Some people care about the sound and feel of a V8. When I test drove the M4 it was missing something. At the time I couldn't put my finger on it but it didn't exhilarate me. It is a beautiful machine but just not my first choice.
I have not driven the C63s but I feel confident based on all I have seen and read it will excite me much more.
