Financing?

Is there a certain amount of down payment/trade in value that you can put down? MBUSA in their price estimator says down payment/trade in value cannot exceed 25% of MSRP.

That doesn't make any sense, unless they want to make lots of $$$ on financing. That's a first for me.

There shouldn't be. You can put down as much as you want and finance the rest.

The 25% limitation was referring to leasing, so you wouldn't trade-in / put down more than the lease value.

The lower down payment on a lease the better. Because all that money will be lost since you won't own the car. If you want to lease and ahve a chunk of money to use just do multiple security deposits. You'll get that money at the end of the term and it will help you reduce your money factor (interest rate).
You are limited to 10 MSDs. Is it that what you are talking about?
