So per my last post I did find a corner spot under the cover...SWEET!!!

 

Those huge spots really make the car look TINY!

 

LOL It does look that way but I feel like the C63S coupe in black just comes off smaller looking anyway For instance when I see a C63 coupe in the distance in white or silver...I always think it is NOT a C63...that it is too big...well until I get closer.

I know they are the same car and same size but the black just makes it looks smaller...to me anyway!!!

 

 

Hanging out at No Fly Zone Arizona with a bunch of German cars (BMW, AUDI, etc.). This group was very cool and everyone had fast cars. I was the only C63S at the event.

Just the standard black with grey. Would have loved to have the saddle brown.

 

Same color as mine...yes the saddle brown would look good with the Blue. What is the actual name of that blue?

Very nice! Two of my favorite coupes even though I have never owned a C7. How does your AMG run against his car? And don't even try to tell us you two haven't pushed it...LOL

Just installed 12F/15R spacers and oem facelift grills painted gloss black with matte black distronic star. Next is H&R VTF spring install!

 

Nice job...I am interested to see how good the H&R springs look sitting on the wheels with spacers.

Also what spacers did you go with?

 

Thank you. Will also be doing 2 piece floating rotors & ebc pads during the spring install. The previous owner used some caustic wheel cleaner so the rear rotor hubs are pretty rusted. Not 100% on the fitment yet since they are technically for an SL so we'll see.

The spacers are TPI. They are anodized black and have knurled edges which look very nice. Also make sure to get extended bolts & locks.

 

Thanks for the info...are the TPI spacers hub centric for our cars? And good point on extended bolts and locks.

On the rotors what part of the country are you in as I hear this issue from time to time...I am AZ and my car is close to 18K miles and my rotor hubs look like brand new sorry!

 

No prob! They are bored for 66.6mm and are hub centric. The car only has 14K on it and was bought at the same dealership I picked it up at so don't think it ever left CA. Confident in thinking someone used some fancy wheel cleaner that corroded them. Wanted to switch them out to the 2 piece anyway since they are at least 8lbs lighter each and the hat + attachment hardware will look nice behind the wheels with no chance of the hats corroding since they are aluminum.
