I purposely did NOT chose it for that very reason. Plus it's a waste, IMO.

Its much easier to sell the car option with big screen, you're paying for the car once so make it perfect. Just my 0.2 cents.

Here are the main differences BESIDES the screen size:

1) The Multimedia Cars have a faster hard drive. This will lead to quicker movement through the menus in the vehicle.

2) Higher Resolution in the screen.

3) Full voice control which is easy to use/accurate

4) Touch pad has full functionality for many menus in COMMAND.

5) Higher resale value

6) Clearer rear view camera display

Thankfully the Edition 1 has the Multimedia Package. The package wasn't listed on the oldest dealer order guide and for a second I got nervous. My sales person forward me the latest version for E1 and it has that option

For some people. I use my phone for everything and I only switch between 2 menus, phone and audio and that's not even enough to justify. Plus, I don't sell my cars. I either keep them or give them to family members.

1) From what I've seen in these builds, I've only seen one with the Performance Seats. Any particular reasons as to why people are not getting them? Price?

2) Also, I still don't see the AMG performance exhaust on the config. What's the U.S. price on that?

1) I chose them because for one they are super comfortable (sat in a car with them) Plus they look great.

2) 1,250

Thanks! I must have missed it (the perf seats) on your build list. I am pretty sure I will be getting the AMG exhaust, but am on the fence for the performance seats mainly due to budget.

As a daily driver, I did not get them. I have lower back issues and I was worried it would bother me. Also, I like the Affalterbach Logo in the headrest of a non-performance seat.

I like the way they look but I plan on taking long trips with it and just like JP I suffer from lower back issues.

1)nice to have
2)nice to have
3)I'll believe it when I see it.*
4)not sure what you are talking about here.*
5)hmmm
6)same feature as 2)

*I haven't seen the car in person yet, but am looking to buy. This will be my first MB. (used to own an Audi S4)

So those doesn't seem to justify the cost, I am thinking of doing
+Garmin GPS for $600 only instead.

+debadge fender
+debadge rear
+Palladium silver (not decided yet, can't tell from monitor what color it really is. Anyone got side by side comparo between steel gray and PS? I really like the porsche Agate gray metallic)
+Black forged wheel
+Light pkg (gripe about this charge, AMG S should be free)
+Night style (gripe about this charge, AMG S should be free)
+Perf Seats
+Blind spot
+40k service

$82870 for C63S

If you like Agate Gray on Porsches, go with Steel Grey on the C63S.
Palladium Silver is a lighter color than both. I actually just saw a Cayman GTS the other day, with Agate Grey and the GTS exterior package (glossy black front splitter, etc), and it looked phenomenal. So I just believe that a similar aesthetic will look very nice on the Benz.

I really like Steel Grey on Mercedes cars, and it looks menacing with black details like Night Package and black rims, etc.

Thank you. And yes, that Agate Grey GTS is exactly what I saw on the road that made me wanted to create that look. BTW you are not in Nor Cal are you? maybe we saw the same car.

Only thing that I am worried is that I want a sedan C63s, not the coupe. Hopefully that understated mean look is still good... it should be

I'm in NJ, but I did live in the Bay Area for 6 years. You see a lot of nice cars in Silicon Valley area.
