Awesome pic. Did you get any feedback on how the car was received by the bimmer crew? Most people that questioned the look of the car changed their minds after seeing it in person. Only the hardcore BMW fanboys will deny this thing is both beauty and the beast. Still lovin' those wheels.

I wasn't there lol Nick from Mode Carbon said everyone kept asking how it was. They actually liked it more in person. People like the car way more with aftermarket wheels. It makes it more aggressive and less of a weak looking car. I agree with them. Sam and Nick both love the car. Sam is a BMW guy but he really enjoyed the car. Nick has a W204 and he absolutely loved it.

Just noticed Sam's M3 versus C63S review on the other forum. Seems he was trying to strike a balance. Did you read it?
BTW, great pictures of your car with an awesome backdrop.

I read it - I have to agree with the exterior comment - its quite soft, my biggest complaint about the car, that and only being able to put 275 in the rears. I thought 285 was possible?
The rest of the car is great too, but for 100k car really wish the exterior was a bit better.
His gas comment - kind of shocked me too, I thought this car was suppose to be the same as the m3 on gas.. the old c63 gas was HORRIBLE.
Not only did it cost a lot, filling twice a week is annoying lol.

"The C63 also guzzles gas like there is no tomorrow despite the manufacturer's claims. This is a problem for me as I don’t consider myself to be a wealthy individual and do not desire to be filling up my tank 2-3 times a week."
Quite frankly, I thought his post was okay but thought it served its purpose for that particular forum.

Just read the C63 vs. F80 M3 review over at Bimmerpost (which had your car!). I haven't driven either car yet but it looks like the BMW crowd instantly concedes on the subject of POWER! pretty funny reading the comments

If the auto press ever gets around to real instrumented head-to-head testing, I'm sure we will hears lots of the usual "BMW handles better at the track" comments.
This is no problem for me. I recently reached the conclusion that if I am going to drive expensive hardware on a race track, I would much prefer it to be expensive hardware that someone else owns. Thus, I won't be tracking my car. I'll just be going to expensive race schools and putting their cars at risk ;-)

I just want to start off by saying Sam and Nicholas from Mode Carbon have been great to work with. I talk to Sam on almost a daily basis. They both give have given great feedback on the car. I can't wait till we start this project and put some modifications on it.
I read it this morning. His review was based off of driving it once in the canyon and once to the r&d center.
Power- I think he was completely right about the power. You can't compete with the C63S power wise. Its comparable right now because he has JB4 and an IPE exhaust. You add a simple performance mod to the C63S and its already game over. Thats probably why he said the M3s power is enough.
Chasis- The M3 is a winner in that department for sure. Im not even going to argue against that. I just want to add that my car has the stock Dunlops on the new Klassens. They were pretty stretched since they were 245 and 265. The PSS are going on today 255 and 275 in the rear. The car also hasn't been to alignment yet because the the tires needed to be changed.
Brakes- Cant really say much here
Exterior Styling- Ok some things that Sam said I agree with. The M3 exterior styling is better. The C63S has the sleeper look. I mean I love the car but I bought it with the intention of modding it. Its not aggressive enough for me. I don't agree with the whole C400 thing. You could say the 435 Msport looks really really similar to an M4. You wouldn't be wrong either. I remember a thread on E90 post that had a 435i Msport and it was debadged. BMW owners couldn't tell if it was a M4 or a 435i. Some people though it was a M4 that went as far as doing a dual exhaust conversion.
Interior Styling- Honestly the M3 is ok. It doesn't do it for me. Its kinda eh. Its sporty but eh. The C63S makes you feel special when you sit inside it. If you get performance seats its a great place to be. In the M3 you could be sitting in a 2 Series and it would be real similar. There is nothing great about the M3s interior IMO
Daily Use- I think Sam is used to the stereo exhaust sound on his car The M3 doesn't sound good from outside the car so I don't see how it would sound good sitting inside. The IPE exhaust does help the car but at the end of the day it still sounds like a ricer car that would hear in the ghetto. The car sounds good to me in all modes. Given that he drove the car I think twice his milage claim is a bit off. Canyon Driving in sports plus mode won't give you great milage. Thats a fact. The first two hundred miles I was driving like a dumb *** and I averaged 13 miles a gallon. Since then, Im doing about 19 and most of my driving is done on the road.
Conclusion- Stock for Stock the C63S takes it. Stock C63S vs Modified M3 its basically a toss up. That is a wonderful thing if you ask me.

With the initial dyno results, youtube informal race videos, and apparent ease of flashing upgraded ECU firmware all favoring the C63, I don't think any of the BMW folks could make any sort of credible argument regarding pure engine power.
If the auto press ever gets around to real instrumented head-to-head testing, I'm sure we will hears lots of the usual "BMW handles better at the track" comments.

Great car Aman. I love the wheels, now i want some. Could you go to 9.5" rims on the front with stock suspension? If not, why not? What do you think of your sport seats? Too tight for lroad trips? Too loose for track? Cushion comfort? What size are you?

I love the sport seats. I wouldn't get the car without it. It fits me perfectly. I have driven it a lot. A lot of 60-80 mile drives and they are extremely comfortable. I prefer these seats to my dads GL550. Im 6 feet tall 175 pounds. Pretty lean body.

Thanks Aman. I'm about your size and have been thinking of getting the sport seats. Given your feedback, I guess i better get them. Exciting!

Thanks bro. You probably could with stock suspension and some stretch on the tires. I plan on lowering the car ASAP lol
