With a 51% residual, a 2012 for 57K is very high?
In Toronto I believe a new c63 goes for about 80K.
So a 51% residual after 3 years put it at about 40K.
The local dealers are selling 2012 for about 55-57K.
Does that mean there is 15K to play with during negotiations?
What I really meant was there is 15K to play with in terms of that is what the dealer got the car far (value wise).
Correct then they have to CPO it etc, which can't be more than 5K can it?
I would appreciate if someone could fill me in on what I am missing, there must be more to play with in these cars right?
My 2013 C63 was $79k, had a 58% residual (3/36), and the buy out was $45k. The going price for a CPO 2012 C63 on MB's website right now seems to be in the $49-54k range asking price. Factor in CPO cost and negotiating it sounds about right to me.
