Oil type and capacity

Oil type and capacity
I plan to get my oil changed either at the 1,850 mile service or before. However, I have been unable to find any information about the quantity of oil needed for an oil change. I did look in the owners manual that came with the car and in the table of oil capacities the box for the AMG model is BLANK (very helpful ;-). Even better, the online version of the manual does not even list the AMG model in the oil capacity section.
I believe Mobil 1 0w40 is still the best choice, but I am open to alternatives.
Anyone know the capacity and/or have suggestions for oil brands?

If you head over to the W204 forum, you'll find more info than you ever wanted/needed on the issue. Any oil that meets 229.5 is OK, but the general consensus from those in the know (as in with actual understanding of oils with supporting engineering expertise) is that Mobil 1 is still best choice.
