Have any of you replaced your door lock pins? Did you go aftermarket or with something from Mercedes? I like the look of the AMG ones that you can get on the CLA45. Do those fit C63S or are they a different length? Post some pics if you have them.

I have them on my W204 C63.

They are a big upgrade over the plastic door lock pins.

I agree they are a nice upgrade. But I think the W205s require a different size.

I believe the fronts will fit but not the rears. Yes, it is definitely a nice upgrade.

If the rears will not fit will any other pins fit from other Mercedes? I definitely want them. Are the purchased individually, in 4s or in 2s?

since I know you are going to get them....... could you get some from from your parts department to check for fitment?

If I'm ever so so blessed enough to purchase an AMG in my lifetime this without a doubt would be my first MOD !?!?

I'd even ask them to replace all four during the PDI just so I wouldn't see them cheap plastic tabs they have on all MBs right now !!??

I'm not sure if you that was sarcasm or not... But I honestly completely agree! The plastic pins just don't match the beauty of the rest of the car.

+ 1 totally agree, one of the first mods I also did to my 204 and will definitely do the same to a 205


Even on normal variants, those little pins in a similar brush metal finish to the rest of interior metal trim actually add a lot of finishing finesse

MSRP is roughly $45 each pin. We do not know if it will fit a 205 car.

$45 a pin seems a bit expensive but I'd still grab 4 of them if they did fit ...... soooo worth it IMHO !?

I was going to guess $50 a pair. But $45 for one. Maybe they are made out of platinum? Seems a bit steep. I really do want them though...

Each is handcrafted from a unique unicorn's hair that is then metalicized into an AMG door pin.

I wish these were offered on my car. Do they just slide over the existing pins?

For people who don't want to pay that much (which is fair enough) you could always just get copies, they will eventually be available all over ebay just like the 204 series pins and cost only a fraction as much the good ones you can't really tell apart either, for a door pin they do the job

I will be ordering the non-OEM ones without the AMG logo. Still classy and you can get a set of 4 for less than the cost of 1 OEM pin.
