Interesting... I optioned my16 with both of those features. Then I removed the blind spot and added the Drivers assist package. Sine the blind spot is now included, the drivers assist package should go down by some... I doubt it will though.

Thoughts?

Remember that Driver assist package are "active" options. I am not sure if the blind spot assist that's included now will be "active".
Worked out well for me because I had rear side air bags and blind spot assist as options $550 + $420 on MY2016 order before they made it standard. It ends up saving me a few $.

Whenever they make options 100% standard; the price is usually cheaper.

I had the mid city engineering unit on my C63 (W204), works awesome. Only complaint was that you had to be in key fob range to start it.

By the time I got it installed into my gf's B200, it's rebranded as a Compustar unit, with iPhone app for remote starting. We always took her car to the airport, so in the winter when flying back, we can remote start it from wherever we're flying in from a bunch of times to pre-heat the car, and a few more times while we land/wait for luggage so we can hop into a toasty car.

Highly recommended!

edit - Doesn't look like it's compatible with W205 C's yet.
