I'm looking and I'm liking.

Many, many congrats Iceman. Stunning car - inside and out. Love the Affalterbach crest on the front seat headrests.

Thanks Zibby...! My wife asked if the crest was a special order. I said no, these are the cheap seats.

Pano Roof Videos

Since there’s been a lot of discussion about the pano roof, thought I’d throw these videos in just for fun. The first video shows how the opening and closing of the shades. You can see the blue sky and the amount of cover you get. I plan to go with either 20% or 35% on the glass. The second video shows how thin the shade is – as you can see the sun. It’s actually not bad at all and provides a lot of shade. The sun shines year around here in SoCal and it can get up over 100 degrees for about three weeks in July and August. So far so good.

LOL, good point. I like the crest as well. Plus I like that you can adjust the headrest.

Nice! Yes be happy you have yours, my ETA is going to be just over 10 months of waiting. Fantastic.
The first thing I'm planning is tint the pano and the windows

Thought I'd have a little fun with the wheels while deciding on rims. Up next, vinyl wrap on window trim.

Are those the stock rims? Are they wrapped or painted?

Those look outstanding! What types of rims are those? Looks like you dropped it an inch or so as well - did you put coilovers on it?

Those stock 5 spokes look great blacked out! Did you photoshop that? After seeing that I would absolutely consider wrapping them to get that look. I like the 5 spokes blacked out better than the cross spokes ($1,750 upcharge).

Thanks! The wheels are XO Luxary Caracus with Vogtland springs. No coilovers.

Thanks all..! Yeah, these wheels are likely temps -- we'll see. Here are a few more pics. I absolutely love the red calipers. AMG FTW....!

For the record, yes, I was trying to duplicate the exact color and shine of this one. Nothing can replace the AMG set so I think I'll hold out and hope we can buy them soon. Still, the temps look pretty good.
