We'll be going next spring. COTA here we come! Yeehaw! Nothing like using other peoples gas/tires/brakes.

If anyones considering this and isn't sure then honestly. Just go for it. You won't regret. Just participated in the driving academy today, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Learned so much about driving on a track, proper positioning, braking etc. Also you get to drive all of the cars in the AMG line up. Even got a ride with a professional driver (Danny Kok. Man is he good!!!) in the AMG GT, and I can say that thing truly rips across the track and is a track machine. (Got to drive it also. Man it sounds so wonderful.). Also the C63S was extremely amazing on the track.

Well, to add my 2 cents to this thread, just finished the "basic" course at Lime Rock yesterday. It was absolutely awesome. Yes, the track is shorter, minimal/no run off areas, but we still got to 120+ in the main straight, and IMO I thought it was even better as a first-time track since there is less to learn for curves, etc. So you really get to hang it out pretty hard, and in the GTS it was friggin' awesome. Got a few taxi rides in the SLS BS, and in the GTS, and that was awesome too.
Can't recommend it highly enough. Outstanding. It's too bad they don't promote it to new AMG owners, as it definitely helps establish brand loyalty (yes I'm now looking at the 16 GTS on line...) and I'm sure it is well worth the significant expense on their part.

We'll be going early next year to COTA again....... looking forward to it.
I signed up for the wait list for COTA in beginners class in December. I doubt a spot will open up so it'll most likely be sometime early 2016.

I got my voucher through for the AMG Driving Academy last week. In the UK it's held at Brooklands Circuit in the UK. I'm going to looking into the offer's validity on the European side at I see they have a centre at Spa and I'm really keen to try it at that circuit. I may even head over in a car of my own and take in a trackday when there.
