Wipers chatter like hell

The main issue here is the Bosch sourced wipers that MB/AMG is still using.
My DD 2006 C230 Sport has the same wipers and it also still chatters.
My gf's Lexus uses Denso sourced wipers and are quiet as hell.
MB/AMG needs to source different wipers to solve the issue.....putting RainX after each wash is a PITA.

I will never ever use RainX again...once used there is no removing it (I think they finally released a product to get it off) and you'll NEVER get your glass clean again (always will have streaks)

The entire design is just bad. From what I've noticed on Lexus wipers - they use an aerodynamic metal sleeve over the rubber blade, that I suspect, serves to put some weight on the rubber blade, which helps in preventing chatter.
RainX helps with reducing chatter because it provides a chemical suspension so the blade doesn't stick to the glass during rain. It is a temporary solution at best.
Good wiper design calls for the wiper to have a balanced weight to it.

My pursuit for perfection led me to develop these glass polishes. Fine Glass Polish is for mild spots you normally see on your windshield, sunroof, and side glass. Spots that are visible but hard to feel with your fingernails. For water spots that normally occur on glass and that you can feel with your fingernails, we recommend Glass Polish. It has more polishing compounds for heavily calcified deposits. Use either one periodically and your wipers will last longer! Both products may be used by hand with our Cotton Polish Pads or with our Random Orbital and Glass Polish Pads. With our Random Orbital you'll be amazed how fast your glass gets clean.

I've used those exact Griots products for several years and have never had a chattering, streaking, or visibility issue on any car I've owned. Most of the time you don't even need to use your wipres because the water will bead off the windshield on it's own.
For the RainX people, Griots makes a glass sealant that is significantly better than RainX. Stupid easy to apply and does not streak at all.

I personally use Adams Glass Sealant which is also great. I've never had any "chatter" as people are saying. Zaino also makes a glass polish however it creates a mess when using a machine. Before you apply any sealant; make sure you clay bar the glass. You be surprised the difference that makes.

i didnt read the whole thread, but the reason they chatter is because of dirt on the road getting on the windshield. all you have to do is use your windshield washer (yes even in the rain) and it will go away. simple fix i promise

Modified Bosch aero twin works well
It appears to be solely the SWF blades that Mercedes use as standard.
I modified a set of Bosch A016s aero twin blades (designed for W203) but the specific connector easily comes off by squeezing the side blade springs. The connector from the A016s comes of easily and even has the midpoint notches that the W205 specific connector locates into.
Once fitted, the judder is eliminated. There is the slightest of noise where in my opinion the Sweep of the arm goes too close to the A pillar and loses tension.
QED it's the blades rather than the arms.
