2015 C63S E1; 2016 C450 AMG
The performance numbers are quite impressive, particularly for a car of this size and weight. However, I just could not get comfortable with the size of the car. Sadly, despite being almost a foot longer than the C63, the CTS-V provides no more rear seat room and only a bit more trunk space.
Also, one of the things I really like about the C63 is the very tight turning circle. GM says the CTS-V has a turning circle in excess of 40'. That is really unwieldy.
Finally, at least based on list prices, the CTS-V equipped roughly similarly to the C63S E1 would cost about $3K more and is subject to a gas guzzler tax (part of the $3K). I am hoping that for $3K or less I can get a tune for the C63S that will put me at or near the CTS-V's power level.
