Tuning Adventure Begins Today - Go Team Eurocharged ;-)

He'll do his thing tomorrow and then it's time to see what this beast can really do.
Will keep you all posted, I'm stoked.
Enjoy the day and talk soon!!

As to downpipes, not yet...ECU tune for now.
As to location, yes, mounted on a bracket coming off the alternator and is wedged between that, the engine and the passenger side.
Cheers!!

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I've been driving for nearly 40 years, and I've never had to access an ECU except for tuning purposes.
In the old days you would be p/p the heads, regrind the cam...... now it's a damn set of 000's and 1111's LOL.

Thanks for the contribution!!! :-)
Obviously my passion LOL
That's a heck of a lot of determination! Good on you bud!
The guys at Eurocharged are cool....
But if it is possible, I'd wait for the OBD II flash like I did on my 2011 C63.
Cheers!

Let me preface the below with some HIGHLY deserved credit....Jerry @ Eurocharged has been taking incredible care of me for years, and I want to thank him for his attention to detail, as well as professionalism in all that he does. Furthermore, having a company that you can rely on to tinker with such a car is paramount and hard to find. These guys have proven to me (and I think it's safe to say) countless others that they are a responsible group of individuals that know how to balance risk with reward. Kudos to you all and may the universe return the positivity that you have created.
Now, on to the tune.
Guys, I'm honestly shocked...I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I have driven some of the worlds finest examples of sports cars and the transformation here is truly hard to believe...and this is only after a handful of miles.
There's another review somewhere on the forum here where a guy go to drive Jerry's car etc and when I read it I was obviously thrilled with the implications, but was a little "yeah right" about the gravity of the change.
Let me tell you that this guy was right, and also vastly under-crediting the work that these guys have done to transform the dynamics of this engine, and therefore car.
I can't even truly begin to articulate how viceral the driving experience now is. I'm talking fighting for traction in both 3rd and 4th gear with 90% throttle....This truly is the first thing I have driven since the SL65 Black Series which might legitimately touch the level of torque it produced.
Seriously the stock C63S will not be able to touch this in any regard....there is 0 lag, the car pulls as hard with 1/2 throttle now as the original did with almost full throttle - it's that big of a change.
From a drivability point of view nothing has been lost to performance..everything is still silky smooth, the transmission is much more responsive from a dig and doesn't have as much "float" as the stock settings do. The throttle is exponentially more responsive.
Will be going to the track weather permitting this coming wednesday and will post time slips as a baseline.
Gotta go put the kid down now so I can log a few more miles before bed.
Honestly, I would pay $5K for what I just got, the change is that monumental.
No filters, no BS, just the plain reality.
Can't wait for you all to experience the same thing.
No joke, game changer.
BTW I would do 5X the work that was done above to get this tune done now that I know what the end result is....C300 VS C63 difference

Weird question but is it still easy to tame the animal and drive it around cities without it wanting to pounce and scare your passengers? As in the ability to drive it by a wife for instance is not lost?
Now, on to the tune.

absolutely..comfort mode for sure...that being said, anyone that drives this will feel that something is different...when you have 700+ lb-ft of torque you just can't tame it / ignore it...as we know MB's traction control and stability systems are on point, so as long as they are left alone, a grannie can drive the car
Most welcome, can't wait to go on a drive this AM.
Enjoy the day all!
