I will keep all my comments to a bare minimum until it is 100% unveiled.

I hate to rain on everyone's early parade.....but how much is the MSRP on this going to be?

I always assumed that it would be in the mid 70's to 80's.

But I've heard that the C63S Coupe could be a six-figure car instead. Which would be ridiculous, seeing how that's GT/GT-S territory.

Haha, what? Where are you getting this? Stop trolling.

It will be close to Sedan pricing.

On the Internet, saying "I heard..." is synonymous with "I am gullible"

This. I myself unfortunately cannot afford an AMG! But I anticipate I will be paying around £3000-£4000 more than the saloon for the standard coupe on release. This represents a roughly 10% price hike. And I would expect to see something similar in the AMG models,

MSRP and the c63 and the C63s will be about 3 grand more then the sedan. A fully loaded ED1 could near 100 grand I suppose.

Not trolling at all. And Coupe's have NEVER been at the same price point with the sedan. The 204 Coupe had a higher MSRP than the 204 Sedan did.

Priced with options, it could go near 6 figs.

This isn't just an AMG thing either - the M3 is "cheaper" than the M4.

Pricing and optioning up a car to near 6-figures DOES NOT make it a "six-figure" car...

Yes MSRP is never what you get a car for, but saying the Coupe will be a six-figure car from base is obviously illogical.

You can option up a lot of 5-figure cars to near and past $100k, thats just the "pay for goodies" strategy. Try to get a Cayman with anything near "normal" options (for other cheaper cars) and you start touching 911-territory.

Also, I never said "same price point", I said "close" which always means $3k-$10k range ON TOP of Sedan price (this is pretty much always true as you pointed out with M3/M4).

Who pee'd in your cereal this morning?

If MSRP of the Coupe is going to start at $85K, and being frugal with options, plus tax, plus destination, etc etc will put it at around 6 figs.

Can give zero shiats that it doesn't "start" at 6 figs, I'm interested in what I'll end up paying out the damn door.

The 2016 sedan is already going to be priced higher than the 2015. In all respects, all pricing is going UP.

If the 63S Coupe is indeed going to be on par with the sedan's pricing (it's not), then priced with options it should be $85-ish out the door, which is what I'm hoping for.

Chill the frack out man.

Alright alright, lets calm down.

C63S Sedan "starts" (we know nobody will ever get it for that) at $71k.

Lets assume the coupe gets another $5k on top. So a base C63S Coupe would be $76.... with options around ~85k-90k...

Anyway I'm going to eject from this read as speculation never works out anyway.

Sorry if I offended you!

Didn't offend me at all, I want the 63S Coupe to be priced as close to the sedan as possible, lol.

Sorry for getting antsy about it as well. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.

I share your concerns. I've waited for over a year for this. And the coupe I know is going to be right on the edge of my budget. So I hope it is competitively priced, only time will tell.

You guys are being silly. The Coupe will only be marginally more expensive than the sedan... as it always has. This is still a C-Class and it's still competing with the M4.

I agree that it will most likely be around ~$3k more than the sedan -- I'm guessing base MSRP for the C63 S Coupe will be $74,900 give or take.

I'm going to have some CHOICE words for my friend who told me that it would be near $100K.

You should consider whether this person is a true friend, sharing misleading facts about such an important topic.

Remember the base of the 2016 sedan is now $73250 +$925 fgt. even though they dropped some option prices it is up $800 on my build from 2015.
I would think the guess of $3-$5k over the sedan is close. With a average total close to $90k before taxes and mods.

Seriously... after I test drove the C63 S Sedan a few months ago, I was talking to the salesman and almost pulled the trigger on it. My ONLY reservation was that the Coupe might be around the corner. I told him that I would kick myself if I ordered the Sedan and the Coupe was unveiled just as mine was being delivered.

He told me to wait a few minutes so he could speak to a few higher ups at the dealership, and then texted some exec at MB... he showed me the text and it said the C63 Coupe wasn't due to be out until next Fall 2016!

Regardless, I told him I was going to hold off for a little bit longer - mostly to sell my current car privately because I wasn't satisfied with their trade-in offer... and in the back of my mind, I knew the Coupe was right around the corner. I am SO happy I waited now.

Moral of the story - don't trust any info until it's confirmed by the PR at Mercedes/AMG themselves!

I have been told not to expect pricing until October. However this info comes from the company my employer uses for our company car leases, who apparently received some info from MB today.

I will not be held responsible for the validity of this message

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
With the front tires being 255, the fenders at the rear obviously have to be flared to accommodate larger width than the C63 sedan. At least the flaring is setting it apart from the normal new c-coupe, which otherwise looks like a clam with big headlights and a weird looking rear end--not exactly my type of design.
So with the rear fenders already flared like that, what would happen to the BS for this car--even more flared?!?!

If that were to be true then there would likely be at least a half-year 2016 production run before switching to 2017's. Does MB do that kind of stuff?
