Creaking From the Dashboard?
The wind noise from the passenger door area they can't locate the problem so want to 'fill it with smoke to find the air leaks' - has anyone heard of such a thing?
Back in next week when the parts arrive.
They're also looking at the passenger seatbelt which rattles off the side of the passenger seat when nobody is using it.
Finally there is an electronic chirping that occurs about 4mins into every journey. It's a series of 6 or 7 chirps from behind the vents on the centre console and happens every time. The tech had never heard it before on another car but had never listened out for it either. He's going to compare with another C63 when mine is in.
The chirp you raise is interesting! I have it too and decided not to raise it as they would think I'm mad! I actually think it could be the location being broadcast to the Mercedes Me system as it does also happen during the journey too. It's so faint I deceived I could live with it if only they can fix the creaking!

I p/u car and drive home.... and it's back........
I'll watch it for the next few weeks, and then I might just have a look under the dash... it sounds like a wire harness or steering gromet squeaking against the firewall. Something pretty simple and basic... but annoying.

hahaha, i know how you feel, it happened to me twice!, the dealer probably thought i was insane!
anyway its back now (the creak) and annoying as hell!
Kills me that a 80k$ car can have this problem.
I've driven $1500 mustangs with no dash noise
I'll let you all know if I find a fix by my self. I'm 'partially' convinced the dealer is trained to minimize these issues..... for cost reasons.

While driving over speed bumps this morning with windows down I am hearing the same dash creak but very loud at the same time outside the front of the car in the suspension.
This is actually good news..... I can roll the car on ramps and actually look at accessible things like sway bar bushings... strut bushings for this annoying noise........ I suspect something needs a shot of lube...... if you are having the bedspring sound from your dash over deep amplitude dips in the road...... try the parking garage windows down speed bump test...... GL all.
in your case, it could actually be two separate things that you are hearing when going over speed humps.
We have removed the front struts and applied a certain grease that Mercedes say to use on certain points of the top of the struts.
The rattle starts at this point and resonates down towards the dash.
Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.
Today I just dove in, and decided to see if there is anything obvious going on below the dash, and at the fire-wall engine compartment.
My progress below:
1. pulled the kick panel off under the dash, which gives pretty good access to the steering shaft and brake shafts through the firewall. I tried some si spray on the shrouds for these. NO success.
2. I did a shake test on all wire looms and air ducts I could reach. there was one wire harness running over a metal sheet part.. which looked possible....... it made "the noise" by hand... but on road test, the noise appears to be right at the top of the dash literally at the HUD unit.
3. If you move the plastic box where the hvac cooling lines come in..... (they are HOT)..... you get "the noise".....lubed up the plastic, rubber.... NO SUCEESS on road test.
4. no success under the dash for what I can reach, and am comfortable dismantling

So move to under hood area....
5. Remove the plastic shroud above the brake booster...... remove driver windshield wiper arm....... notice a plastic nut holding some felt down is missing..... and a couple things not snapped into their holders.... hood release, etc..... (appears either not installed right or "adjusted" at dealer"... perhaps chasing down this noise?.
6. Removed the two strut tower brace supports on drivers side of car... I thought for sure this was it..... but road test showed noise NOT in engine comparment.... but rather appears to be right at HUD unit in side car.
Gave up... put car back together... and gave her a wash, and aggressive drive.
I'll see if any of the above did any good on my next trip to work tomorrow, but inital results suggest I've been defeated

its such a minor but annoying thing, in any case if you cant live with it, get rid of it
I gave this creaky beast to my wife, and she was kind enough to give me her W204.
it was fun, but I couldn't stand the noises.... win... win.
I'll prob tune the my14 w204, add some headers, wrap the roof, black wheels, etc.... tint...
GL to all others with the creak-dash. I finally raised the white flag.
