Previous w204 owner, looking for advice
Hate to start the thread on such an unfortunate note but my dear 09 c63 was stolen from my home about a month ago. Car was never recovered but now that my insurance has taken care of me im excited to be back in the market and was looking for opinons as to what to buy next. I thought I had my mind made up on a certified pre owned 2013 cls63 for a little less than 70k with about 15k miles but the new c63 looks amazing. Coming off the old c63 makes me want to try something in a different class but the all the effort they've put into the new c class seems to be paying off... so much that maybe sticking to the c is the best option. Of course I will test drive both soon to decide what best suits me, I'd appreciate any input here. I will say the inevitable depreciation makes me want to buy slightly used, there's always barely touched AMG's with low mileage for sale not far from me in Houston

IMO don't buy the 2013 CLS if you don't like the transmission in the old c63.
From my understanding the 2013 has a slow transmission, the new c63s while it still is the MCT-7speed the updated software is a lot faster and better.
Otherwise if that doesnt matter to you then I guess its all good.

I had a w204 before and switched to the w205. I would never look back, it's in a totally different class. I've had a couple of niggles with a rattle and some wind noise but looks like they will fix these soon. I drove it across Germany two weeks ago on the autobahn and it is a dream to drive. Solid, sticks to the road and FAST... It feels much quicker than my 204.
