Mercedes-AMG C63S Coupe in Selenite Grey (PICS)

I've been salivating this car for so long and right from the beginning even before it was released it has so far met all or most of my expectations and predictions 'so I don't mind taking it all in good or bad - but so far its been all good/brilliant so stoked...

I'm in exactly the same boat as you my friend, absolutely LOVE everything about this car and the overwhelmingly positive reception it seems to be getting from all the reviews so far only adds to that!
I myself am having a slight dilemma. My order freeze is not for another 2 weeks or so and I am undecided on either selenite grey metallic or magno selenite grey (the matte grey seen in the press drive pictures). decisions, decisions...

I think "amazing" is a bit of an over statement. How can you be speechless when the front is the exact same and the back is only different?
If you like this coupe, I have a 2012 Honda coupe you would absolutely adore...
But I agree, the overall look is better than the Hyundai looking sedan...

I'm also in love with the design of the C63 Coupe, I think it's a damn near perfect package! I'm certain the Accord offers similar driving dynamics, so I'll definitely keep it on my short list.

It will definitely need an aftermarket suspension or/diffuser diffuser.
This one is better than the sedan but still lacking something IMO ... oh yes they got rid of the NA engine
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
A good car should be more than its outside appearance, it has to have soul, function & purpose that is more than the sum of its parts. The C63 coupe does this with beautiful proportions, sound, function, performance & DNA only found in a AMG. You won't find that in your Accord.

Good luck with your final decision, I've got a lot more time on my hands to think about those sorts of things as I'm not buying until the mid life update or until release of special/limited editions ie. other than ED1 by then there'll be a whole host of other add ons and tuning choices as well now that's something look forward too
I think I saw someone else's comment on here about the lighter colour rims being better as you can actually see the shape of them properly. In fact I think they said the black ones gives you the "I lost my hub cap" lol.
However I think the black ones look pretty good with the grey paint option. If I can convince myself to shell out the extra $10k (in Australia) for those ceramic brakes it will be the black ones for sure.

You're in Australia aren't you? Hopefully we get an early Christmas present with some pricing/spec and option details on the coupe, although I won't be holding my breath over it.

Yes also located in Australia (Melbourne) and definitely interested in the C205 AMG coupe but am holding off until the mid life update cycle, so definitely not going to even try holding my breath LOL.
All info should be available early in the new year, we should expect pricing to be very similar if not on par with the outgoing C204 C63's - 160-170k.
The S destined for Australia will already be fully loaded with options as standard, I predict the most expensive additional option will be the ceramic brakes package and second to that the staggered 20/19" wheels ie. if they're not already the standard fitment.
All the best with it in the new year, definitely looking forward to feedback from the initial Aust. owners
My dealership just received an AMG Line 250d coupe in brilliant blue which actually looks pretty stunning, can't wait 'til the 63 they have on order arrives for me to try out

Credit to you for being able to resist the temptation, gonna be a long wait. I myself don't mind being a first adopter, we'll be the guinea pigs for you more patient folks

The only thing we can count on is that both the C63 sedan and coupe will be receiving the new 9-Speed AMG MCT transmission that the new E63 is slated to get when it comes out. Apart from some exterior/interior updates or tweaks, I don't think there are going to be significant changes with the Coupe, especially since they've invested so much in a unique widebody. Perhaps squashing some minor bugs we've heard about, but that stuff usually gets addressed and fixed well before an LCI.

There is plenty to look forward to down the track as well for those laying in wait, I hope AMG do keep raising bar with each new iteration

Besides the new 9spd. transmission/s my inside AMG man tells me there's a whole raft of new tech and gear coming on the new E Class which a lot of will filter down to the mid life updated 205 C's, people leasing can always sell up and update I suppose

So looking forward to these new C205 C63's arriving and the head to head tests with its direct rivals
