Not sure what you mean by your last sentence jcfay but I definitely think the dealer is pulling a fast one on OC6.3AMG (or just doesn't know what he's talking about). March 2016 is for Europe and a few other markets (South Africa and Australia I believe)

I put a deposit in August to get on the "list" with my dealer. I have been texting with my sales guy every 2 weeks but no update on when I will be able to create the order in the US.
Anyone know when we will be able to create orders on the coupe s or coupe non-s?

I'm in Australia and no details (eg: pricing, specs) released yet, so it's looking like January from what I've been told by my MB guy, for an 2nd quarter delivery (wait and see though I guess with that).

Not sure if dealer is lying to get me to actually walk in and place a deposit, but this is what I received from FJ today:

Lol! These guys at FJ are just trying to make you bite!! I would not trust anything said from that particular guy. At some point last year I was in touch with him for an E63 wagon and was not impressed. Same BS salesmen speech!

Are you in melbourne ? if so I was told by my MB contact you can order the new Coupe beginning in March 2016.
Info brochures etc. should arrive in Feb. at least that's what he's saying...
Based on that and the situation with Worldwide demand, (I would expect it to be high as all reviews thus far on this car are outstanding) it may take longer for initial deliveries than 2nd quarter of next year, unless your able to get a hold one of first mandatory production batch that's been produced for Australian dealerships.

Hey AV1 I'm in Brisbane mate. When I switched from my sedan order 3/4 the way through last year was told there were only 6 orders in front of me for the coupe (some of which were placed well before the sedan came out), so hopefully I'm in that intimacy batch you speak of and the majority of the teething issues have been fixed up den what people have reported wrong with the sedan.
No word from my bloke at the AMG centre yet apart from the next update being due early into the new year. See how we go.

I'm dealing with MB/AMG Centre in the City/Fortitude Valley. Good to hear we're closer to getting some firmer details on the coupe. Although I was hoping for earlier than June it will just be nice to have a set time in place so I can start my agonizing wait (which really started last year anyway lol).
