Im planning on doing the same

Yup. I still love the noise. Made it sound more like a V8 without turbos (Made it especially made in 3-4th gears when driving around 100km/h), and made it about 20% louder. Still plan on getting downpipes from Rebellion though to further enhance the sound. Only issues I can think of are emission related which depend on where you live. Warranty isn't really an issue since the secondary cats don't do much, and it'd only affect the exhaust warranty from what I know. Also I haven't had any issues with my car at all so far.

I'll probably add some more vids on here as well later on in the year.
No problem. Hope that you're enjoying you're beast, and I hope that you'll enjoy the sound improvement!

I just did mine but I do not notice a big change in sound down low or at highway speeds from inside the car. Now if I stand in the back of the car, there is a difference. Still gotta drive it a little more.
The exhaust with the plastic panel removed
Secondary cats out of the way
Test fitting the pipes
Driver side done
Passenger side done

If tuned properly, you should have no problem unless they do a visual test. Depends on where you live really.
And I have had my downpipes in for about a week now, its really loud when valves are open and full throttle but cruising around in comfort is barely more audible than stock. Hope this helps! If anything get downpipes! They are the way to go

1 before 1st catalyst, 2nd between 1st and 2nd catalysts
if i understand correctly 2nd catalyst creates exhaust back pressure so lamda zonde can correct air–fuel ratio if there is something wrong with fuel
if there is forward flow without 2nd catalyst then lamda zonde will not have enought time to "sniff" exhaust gass and to amend to engine's work

Did the software update last week and just had the secondary cats deleted today... it's gone from strength to strength!
Now with the secondary cat delete, it's pops so much more all the time. Definitely a lot when just letting off at only 2.5k rpm and definitely more when downshifting too. Idle is a tiny bit louder but similar to the W204, exponentially gets louder the harder you go. Love it!

The power loss makes me question it and also question how aftermarket exhausts like AWE track actually makes more power. Looks like the AWE track is basically a straight pipe.

I’m confused why doing this mod would lose power but downpipes add so much more. Essentially by removing the secondary cats you’re making it more like the downpipes. Has any done a dyno before and after to see if there are any gains or loss of power?

I don't think there's any loss in power at all. If anything, you would probably gain a few horsepower.
