There are 4 parts in total - inner piece L & R, gloss black outer cover L & R
The inner pieces screw onto the bumper and then once secured the gloss black outer attaches using the 3M tape already applied.
The inner pieces have pre-drilled holes and in the kit are the screws and plastic 'rawl plug' type inserts - hold the inner piece in place on the bumper and mark the holes - it only fits in one place as it is shaped to fit into the moulded bumper perfectly.
Drill the holes, push in the inserts and screw the inner piece on tightly - once it is secured peel off the 3M tape from the gloss black outer and attach - it is best to trial fit these first before removing the tape as you only get one chance at getting them to fit and there is a little movement on fitment.
They literally take about 10 mins a side to fit

There are no instructions with them but honestly, you can't do them wrong.

Once you have the kit in your hand, it will all be a bit more self explanatory

AMG engineers notice in the air tunnel a slight air disturbance affecting the overall sound of the car at speeds over 100 mph and also these rear fins help reduce the drag 0.0001 beside this they found a way to pick your pockets.

They're only functional in evacuating high pressure from the rear wheel well if they're open. The honeycomb style are closed. You'd also need to take a utility knife and carve a ventilation slot in the rear wheel liner.

Bumping this thread because I just ordered these.
If I'm understanding your intructions, holes actually need to be drilled into the bumper to install these? I was hoping to avoid that. Thanks.

Yes, they are designed to be drilled and screwed on - there is an inner plastic that is screwed in place, the thinner shaped outer piece sticks onto this with 3M tape - it might be possible to stick both parts on though I suppose?
I will just leave mine on the car when I eventually trade it in and being an official Mercedes AMG parts should have no negative effect

Luck with eBay carbon fiber ones? No drill
Anyone had any luck with the eBay carbon fiber ones? Looks like some come pre-done with 3M tape and do not require drilling like the OEM ones.
Just curious about fit, finish, installation etc.

Can someone who's installed these on a coupe please tell me if they also have a decent size gap between the bumper and the back plate on these???
I'm not even sure my screws are long enough.
I've test fitted these where they "snap" into the bumper, the top plate is flush, and there's still a gap in the back????
Please help!!!!
