Rim Ringz protector

I am afraid of scratching my black rims, and would like to have the red edge on my rims, so this looks to be a good alternative what do you all think.

I do not like it at all. Maybe because it is red and it physically sticks out so much. If they made in black and i had the black rims, then maybe it wouldn't be too bad. But hey, if you like it - and you're concerned about damaging the edge of your rims - then go for it!

I don't know if I can trust that at the limits of the tire like high speeds or cornering. Does this interfere with the integrity of the seal?

Good question, you got me thinking about the seal also, will dig other alternatives and maybe give them a call.

This is no different than putting carpet on the dash to protect it but you can't enjoy the dash as it's covered all the time with an ugly carpet. Protecting...for the next owner.
I had my w204 for 5 years and not a single scratch on the wheels, as I was always paranoid, but that's another topic for dsm forums.
