2015 edition 1 c63s I choose oe tuning

I was searching for a tune for my C63S and decided to call OE Tuning based on their great results and reputation tuning other Bi-Turbo Benzes. I first contacted OE Tuning, when this product was still in the Beta testing phase to see if they had a tune available for my car. They told me that they had Stage 1 and Stage 2 (suits down-pipes) tunes available, but needed more vehicle owner’s nationwide to evaluate their product for W205 C63 and C63S. As nothing was really available for my car at the time, I jumped at the offer.

The first thing I had to do was remove the ECU and send it to OE Tuning for modification. Unfortunately, the ECU is not located in an easy position to remove. I took my car to have my Mercedes Benz tech remove the ECU so I could send it in. He removed the front bumper as the ECU is located low on the side of the engine, behind the alternator. Once OE Tuning received the ECU they tuned it for me the same day it arrived and sent it back with overnight shipping. My tech then installed the ECU and put the car back together.

Now for the moment of truth. The car fired up, same as it had done before and I then went on a test drive with my tech. Once the car warmed up, I got on the gas and the car took off. WOW! The improvement was very noticeable and power delivery was huge! After further testing in different driving modes and also with traction control OFF, the car was amazing. Spinning the tires and even drifting were a breeze. Race mode is my preferred setting.

I did not do any dynoing before or after the tune, my butt dyno definitely approves. On OE Tuning’s blog, this is what they say: “From testing the OE Tuning Stage 1 ECU Tune on the dyno, gains of +87wHp and +122wTq were seen to the wheels.”

More information about testing their C63S tune can be found here: http://oetuning.com/blog/w205-c63s-amg-dyno-results/

I would recommend this product to any owners wanting more power and performance from their C63S.

Thanks for the post. When you meant Mercedes tech you mean you had the dealership remove it or a buddy who happens to be a tech remove it?

Sounds good! I purchased the stage 2 tune and downpipes, can't wait to get them installed during the spring. I wish winter would pass quicker!!

We recommend a trained tech with full shop and lift to remove the ECU. This is not a DIY.
