Check Engine Light
Have any of you had a check engine light?
Was out ice racing today and at the end of the day, the car threw a check engine light and it started to sputter and stalled out. Did that twice and then I let it sit for half hour, started it back up, no sputter but the check engine light was still on.
Ran my OBDII scan and I got two codes:
- P01C8 - not sure on what this is, I believe it is a general fault code
- P0087 - Power train - Fuel and Air Metering / Fuel Rail / System pressure - Too Low
Car drove home just fine. Not sure about you guys, but I only have 7000kms on the car and it's seen the inside of the service bay about 7 times!

My c63s has been with the dealers for the last few days after engine light appearing! Car only travelled 1500kms and went into limp mode on. For those not knowing, the computer restricts the car from accelerating quickly between 1-2000rpm to protect engine damage apparently (mechanic said).
No apparent hardware/mechanical issues previously and so far the mechanics have no idea what is wrong???
Hopefully they will find the issue soon!
Apparently there is a new software update for the ECU and Fuel management system.
Car seems to be running strong. Will have it racing again in two weeks... We will see what happens.
So original post early Feb was I had engine light appear and it took 1week to be investigated and ended up changing 4 engine ignition coils of the 8. At pick up, service person said light is now off and monitor it for the next few weeks as a new lip spoiler was ordered since it is lifting from the double sided tape.
I also asked if the engine coils were going to be replaced but he said Mercedes Australia would only honour a few replacement parts under warranty each time the car is taken into them.
Anyway, having the car back 2 days later, the engine light is back on....wtf???
Now, car has been with service since Tuesday last week and ETA is I'm "supposedly" getting my car back at the end of the week... Asked what the issue is, don't know. Answer from the service person, "the engine light could be many different things".
Would you guys take that crap??

There is a recall as it was described here to do with the front SAM unit. The router if you will of the front electrical systems.
