It's very soon though for everybody in Aust. although March sounds like the month that the flood gates will finally open up
Final pricing for the coupe at this initial stage will be interesting, in one of the main Melb. CBD area dealerships they have at least 2 C63S sedans out in the open yard priced at well over 200k drive away, yes I know what your thinking WTF right ? mentioned this a while ago in another thread those vehicles are still sitting there months later LOL looks like this particular dealership are really living up the stealership title

He's in Sydney, maybe that's the case over there but not here in Melbourne...unless dealer is a typical sales bs artist just hoping to lock people in and try add to his commissions - hopefully not...

There is no deception here. just go into a dealership and ask them. I placed my deposit last year and already have an estate c63S. Like the sedan and estate, the coupe is already fully loaded with not many options to choose. Pricing has not been announced but strong indications given. Those who placed deposits are being asked to finalise options in order to go to production (even without final pricing - it was the same when I ordered the estate).

Hi, I'm new to this forum and also new to Mercedes and other luxury car in general so I do not have much knowledge about this hobby. Which is why I hate to sound paranoid but do you have any specific link to confirm this?
The reason why I am asking this is because I recently found this link and I dont know who I have to believe. I really want to buy this car but for the price that
I am willing to pay, I do not want this car to be made anywhere else.
edit:here is the link below http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...ermany.html/11

This weird, our dealers here in South Africa started taking orders pricing and options available and cars are supposedly arriving in April for first clients.
However, if anyone is looking for more spec lists can log on to Mercedes South Africa our spec usually matches UK or Australia

I'm thinking about putting an order in. anyone here previously ordered an Amg? What kind of discount did you get off msrp (if any)? What is the difference between invoice and msrp on the average c63 amg, just curious?

I'm in the UK and my dealer contacted me to tell me my order which apparently is first in the queue has been delayed due to UK orders being delayed until may. Can anyone confirm.
Apparently there is a shortage of engines.
Thanks

I can't understand why MB is so slow to actually bring their products to market after their debut. I mean, MBUSA still has the C204 C63 configurator up on their website. You'd think a company with this history would be able to work out its supply chain issues and bring a product to market before the excitement dies down.

I'm getting confirmation on this tomorrow morning kc, will let you know the answer I get. If so, this is very disappointing news.

The German site have the new coupe configuration operational.
It should be in sync with all other countries IMO

My dealer finally got back to me and said my delivery period shows April now (it was previously end of March). No specific reason given though.
