I think the resale value will all depend on each individual car and how it was been maintained/ how many kms it has etc.

But being a brand new model, it will be stronger non the less (until the bring out a new shape).

Some BMW lease returns end up in other countries selling for 3-4 times what they would sell here in US, and on some others BMW is simply taking the hit.

Thanks guys for the info. It seems like financing is the best option.

However I'm still deciding on whether to get an BMW M2, Porsche Cayman s, or this Amg coupe.

I know that none of them are in the same segment but it seems like this car (although the best looking one of the three) seems too expensive to maintain so I might give up on this car and buy an M2.

+1. BMW has insane lease rates that can't be beat.

I looked at leasing my car and the monthly lease payments would've been slightly higher for leasing compared to financing which I thought was ridiculous. I have no idea what Porsche lease rates are.
