Question for those who did not get a Performance exhaust
Do you know if your exhaust crackles the same as a the PE? Thanks to CT_AMG I got a killer deal on an C63s that was like over 10k off of msrp. I know right?! The only draw back is it doesnt have PE. I dont mind it being less quiet than the PE but one of the main reasons I want this car is the crackling/popping.
Does your Non PE crackle and pop?

I don't have any videos to demonstrate, but my non-PE C63S in Sport+ or Race mode crackles/pops quite a bit.
If there is a difference between it and a PE-equipped car, you'd probably only notice it driving the two back-to-back.

I have the regular exhaust and yes it does crackle and pop in sport mode. And I don't have the S model. But I'll be installing AWE track exhaust soon.

Hey Jojipoji: We didn't get a chance to really talk but, the car when in sport, sport + and race mode does crackle and pop on upshifts and downshifts. In C mode it does not, which is nice to have as an option when you pick up or drop off the kids and don't want to look like a crazy parent.
There are a couple of performance exhaust threads on here with guys who have the PE button. I have never been in a c63s with this option or heard it, so I can't compare it to the non PE models. All I can confirm is the braaap during upshifts and downshift in sport modes.
