This is an awkward first post, as i just took delivery of my W205 C63 only 5 days ago. Today as i was dropping off some items for a friend the car started up as it normally has but as soon as i put it in to drive, a parking sensor warning appeared. As I tried to troubleshoot it to no avail, I decided to call MB Roadside Assistance. This had to be one of the most embarrassing moments of my life as the tech attempts to troubleshoot it for roughly one hour. Ultimately the car had to be towed to the nearest dealership, which I found to be ridiculous for a car that hasn't even been broken in yet. What should i do when I visit the dealership on Monday? On a side note the tow truck driver was excellent but told me he personally towed 2 other C63's this week with the same problem. Is this a common issue?

 

Thats odd especially for a 2016 model. I have a 2015 and did not face this issue.

 

Update: The service department says one of the wires in the loom may have shorted causing the parking brake to remain on, and apparently it blew the electronic motor for the parking brake forcing them to replace it.

 

I would request a different car...

 

This could very well be an isolated issue. This sort of things happen in the first few days and that's what warranty is for. Unless you have additional headaches don't let this bother you but do show your disappointment to them so they know where you stand in the future if you have more issues.
