holy molly!! That's pricey! Was thinking i could get a simple fix by adding a sub in the spare wheel (if it's still there, haven't opened that part of my estate) The Burmester is ok, but my pal came with his Infiniti Q50 and boy the Bose in his car is maddddddddddddddddd

The spare wheel area in the sedan houses a giant battery in an even bigger aluminum protection case and a bunch of electronics boxes.

Honestly, that's about what I expected you dropped into it...in my opinion, not that it matters...it's money well spent. To get a custom install job done with stellar new JL audio, accent lights, great finish AND it still keeps the car practical and mechanically sound....that's money well spent. Kudos man, and thanks for all the pictures and updates throughout the process. Glad the audio shop guys didn't mind you documenting the progress. Very nice work! Enjoy!
If that is what you paid, that is a lot of money. It is good to see a nice, clean and quality job done by the shop. It isn't unheard of that some drops money like that and gets a sub par job they aren't fully happy with.

Hi. Love teh install. Looks fab. I'm in the process of installing a 10" sub in an underfloor sealer box (spare wheel well) and an amp. I was wondering where you pick up the amp remote switch feed from?

Im not to sure as I had a technician build this for me.
Amazing work. Just curious if you knew: when the tech was first working on tacking up all the small pieces of MDF (the particle board wood), did he just use a hot-melt glue gun? I was trying to think how he had the time to get all of those little pieces fit into place without having to wait for glue to dry. I'm guessing it's hot melt (with some screws on the larger pieces where possible). When you're going to fiberglass the whole thing anyway, it makes sense, but had never occurred to me.

Going through the pics of the build deffinately looks like hot glue and screws.
This is was supposed to be a 3 day job but my tech is very particular and went over board.
Love the finished product tho and now sounds amazing with the deep bass, I couldn't be happier how it turned out.
