W205 C63S Tune only vs 2009 E63 M156 Tune Only
So something interesting happened last night.
I had a couple of CLEAN runs from a roll against my friend's 2009 E63 + Tune only.
I had my car tuned by Dime and it felt MUCH MUCH faster after the tune. Seriously.
We had a couple of runs in Mexico starting from 20mph, 40mph, and 60mph. We weree neck to neck until we reached 110mph and then he started pulling on me FAST. 2-3 cars length.
Now, I do respect his win and I'm happy for him but it also obviously makes me wonder these questions:
1. Stock vs Stock - Isn't the M177 faster than the M156?
2. What's the max HP/TQ a tune only M156 gets and what should be the numbers for the M177?
Btw, for the first 2 runs, I was in S+ fully automatic. That's where he pulled on me the hardest.
The 2 other runs, I was in Manual in Race and I shifted right at 6k RPM and didn't let it hit the red line since I figured the turbos will breathe better if I shifted early. The M156 is NA so I knew he had an advantage at the top end.
Just looking for clarifications, might end up getting a turbo upgrade + downpipes from Steve @ Dime. Will get a before and after Dyno if I do.
Oh... and funny thing was that my friend's car was tuned by Steve when he used to work at Weistec.

something doesn't seem right, i would get ur car dynoed or maybe re-run it but shift at redline.
this run was 45-130mph as u can see i started to pull, we ran it again and i pulled 2-3 cars up to 160
stock c63s, vs tune/straight pipe m156 c63 making 550hp

What is this supposed to show exactly? Did the C63 catch up or did the C63S slow down at the end?
Heres mine 50-143, i just held my phone sideways not steady but u get the idea
this is another one but with the a/c on shouldnt effect it that much
