LOL

I have also with no luck. I would say that the C63's have the same wheel pattern as some other car, and Sanch's wheel guys have figured out which car that is.

Ok the spacers are exact as the sedan.

There is no difference, so these guys are feeding you BS.

The only difference is the load rating which is why the KW is different from the sedan and the coupe.

Awesome, thank you!!! I just ordered 10mm spacers for the front of my coupe with black OEM, AMG wheels.... I just cannot find the OEM tire manufacturer confirmation from the factory. Dealer cannot confirm, even though car is built and there is a VIN. Any thoughts on a way to confirm?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can. I was hoping to get the Michelin pilot super sport and I did.

It's hit and miss... Just wait till you get the car and then get the correct tire.

Just a point to note. The H&R spacers which were supposed to be specific for the C63s coupe didn't fit. I was told by the shop after they spent a long time on the phone that H&R had probably assumed their saloon part would be a direct swap but the hub was too large in diameter on the coupe. EDIT: Ignore this bit! It is possible there is some difference between the hub sizes between regions (seems VERY unlikely)... perhaps the wrong part was put in the H&R boxes although there were two boxes, each with spacers, and none would fit the front or rear hubs. One thing that just crossed my mind was that the spacers were for the previous generation coupe!

Anyway..the spacers I went for were 10 & 12 mm.

EDIT: See my post further on where I remembered what the actual problem was!! I will engage brain in future!

H&R's work mate, I've got some on my wagon and I'm 99.9% sure the hub dimensions are the same between the wagon, saloon and the coupe. The main difference between the spacers is the "centre diameter" the W205 has a CD of 66.5 whereas the older W204 has a CD of 66.6 (if I recall correctly).

I can get you the part number for mine, but I have 15mm installed on my rears.

Shoot me a PM or ask here and I'll fish out the info for you.

After some thought! (Should have actually thought before my last post!) - The problem was that the hub projected out too much and hit the flange where the tube part projects away from the flat part of the spacer to accommodate the wheel. (Terrible explanation but hopefully you'll understand!). So the hub diameter was OK it just projected further out. A thicker spacer would have been fine and perhaps this is why Sanch, with his slightly thicker spacers didn't have the same problem.

Yeah, I made sure to order for the W205 series (versus the W204). I don't think there's going to be a difference between 66.5 and 66.6 as they are typically EXACTLY the same and just listed differently for marketing purposes, but you never know because of tolerances and such. The biggest thing, from my understanding, is the hub and if it's tapered in such a way on the spacers to prevent it from seating properly. That being said, we'll see! I ordered the ECS spacers that match the H&R for the W205 sedan. 10MM for the front only.

Thanks everyone!

So, you're saying that regardless, the spacers aren't going to work? :-(

Why in _F_ would Mercedes put a longer hub ring on the vehicles between years, not on the sedan, just on the coupe? I don't get it. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I really don't know mate. You are going with ECS so they might well fit. All I can tell you is that the H&Rs that they tried to put on mine which were supposed to be for mine did not fit because the hub projected too far out and hit the internal flange which "carries" the tube part of the spacer which in turn carries the wheel.

I've tried a few different spacers.

I haven't had any luck with hub centric spacers fitting.

H&R's did not fit and ECS did not fit.

Now I am using 8mm with no hub centricity (using OE hub to mount).

Does anyone think a 15MM Spacer would work on the OEM 19/20's staggered wheels - just in front???

on a some what different note, but somehow related.

I have noticed code 488 on my order form described as

'Rear Air suspension'

can anyone satisfy my curiosity?

Guys, the ECS work perfectly fine from day 1.

Not sure why H&Rs are having issues.

If in doubt, please go to a professional shop (like I did) and have it sorted properly.

And again the spacers are the same for sedan, wagon and coupe.

The disk/rotors breaks are all the same for ALL.

Just be careful, non hub centric spacers are highly risky they put a lot of pressure on your bearings.

Also, not safe at high speeds/ cornering.

Air suspension in an AMG?

Unless its a G wagon, it doesnt make sense.
