I've still got the OEM wheels... most likely get wheels down the track!

Dude... You rock.
Did you get wider tires in front, as well?

Not yet, I'm waiting for it to wear out. If I stick to the stock wheels I'm planning to go 265 fronts and 295 rears.

However, I'm keen on getting new wheels... so once I find something I'll switch to that.

If you stick to stock, are you keeping the spacers in front and why aren't you going 305s in back? I thought we could go that wide in back... Just checking as you have thru defacto coolest ride...

Yes will keep the spacers... it will only be a minor difference changing 255 to 265.

305/30/20 will give the side walls the balloon look - which I don't like at all.

I like the look now and 295s wont change that too much.

My Shop advised to have a similar look as now I would have to go 305/25/20.

In saying that, lets see how we go when I need to change the rubber.

I'm not a tire expert.... I'm ordering tires now. If you go down to the 305/25, doesn't that take the sidewall down and make it more dangerous for the rim?

Exactly, I rather stick to 30 series rubber than go down to 25s.

Order the 305/30/20... you can test it out for all of us :P

I planning to use the GTS tires which is also MO - the GTS size is 265 & 295 which works perfectly for our car.

If I'm interpreting this correctly the 8mm spacers allows the original hub to poke through the hole in the spacer enough to locate the wheel in position. I personally wouldn't go for this because (imo) it doesn't leave enough of the hub to take the stresses but it does mean the lugs aren't doing all the work!

Sanch - your 15mm spacers work (AFAIK) because the inner flange which carries the extended "spacer hub" is just beyond the end of the existing hub. As you may remember from our conversations you thought that 15mm might be too thick for the oem suspension and the shop agreed when I first visited to decide which spacers to go for.

For clarity I knocked this up... not to scale! This is/was my problem (exaggerated) with the thinner spacers

exactly. It's not something I'd take to the track, but it has given me no issues.

I tried 10 and 12.5 mm spacers and both did not have the appropriate chamfer.

I have never had issues fitting spacers on a car before, have ran DRA/DR style multiple times in all sorts of thicknesses.

(15mm is more aggressive than I want on my 450 - 5 up front and 12 out back would be right on the money)

Are you running a spacer in the rear, too?

Sure am... 12mm in the rear.

Which might need to go to a 8mm when I go 295s.

May I ask how the white interior has held up over time? Very close to ordering the white/black designo interior on the C43 I'm about to get, but am weary of whether the white will stain easily and/or be hard to maintain.

That's definitely good to hear, thank you for the reply, I'll be keeping this car long-term (purchasing not leasing) so it's a concern of mine. I know the black leather with red accents or brown designo will be less inclined to stain, but the black/white looks so good (especially with a black exterior).

listen, if you coat the interior (atleast the white parts of the seat, it would certainly be plus for you).
