Yeah that easter egg like placement under the leather How are people supposed to find that? I was driving around with the belt buckled in since that constant knocking against the seat hard shell was so annoying.

Did they really have to hide it? Almost like they don't want people to find it.

Same exact location as the sedan. Its all about the seats. I have the performance just like you. What I like to see is where or even if they put it anywhere on the normal seats. I dont think they need it on normal seats as there is no hard shell for the buckle to knock on.

After I first saw this information in this thread, I went to dealer for 1875 mile first electric differential service. While there I asked service adviser. He looked at me strangely said never heard of such a thing! I went to sales guys and none of them ever heard of it. By the way they have both coupe and sedan in showroom with the seats and no luck. Next time I'll go there show it to them.

+1, its only the hard shell which causes the knocking.

What's the trick in attaching it to the magnet? Works fine when I open the passenger door to do it, but as soon as you close the door, the automatic tensioner pulls back knocking the seat belt off the magnet.

The tensioner is a setting in your vehicle settings. You can turn it off. But still it shouldn't do that as long belt is not buckled. Mine stays on just fine. You can attach the b lt easily from inside the car with the door closed. Just reach over from your drivers seat and attach it. Easy.
