C63 Sedan: Forgo Parking Assist PKG?

For the 2017 C63 Sedan it appears that the parking sensors (parking assist pkg.) are only available if you also select Premium Pkg. 3 (is this true?) – is it possible to configure the car with just the parking sensors (this essentially makes the parking assist pkg a $3,500 option!).

The rear back-up camera is standard on the C63 so that helps with parking – but what about the FRONT of the car...does the PRE-SAFE/Collision Prevention or Attention assist (all standard) offer any help with parking the front of the car?

For me, parking assist parkage was a must. I have the Surround view in my BMW and have come to rely on it getting in and out of my tight garage and parking spaces. I am amazed how many dealership cars didn't have the option on it. It is the main reason I custom ordered my car.

Its kind of a must for me to which is why I cannot believe MB wouldn't offer it as a standalone option. The standard rear camera helps but I'd also want something telling me how close my front spoiler is to a curb, car, etc.

It is one reason I didn't buy a M3 (doesn't have front camera). Not having front camera and smashing it into a curb or wheel stop is brutal!
